We have been to PopCentury last week and stayed there for 7 nights. We really loved the hotel and especially all the lovely decorations.
We stayed in a preferred room in the sixties-section and it was really close to the main hall. Very convenient for filling up your PopCenturymug!
The food at the foodcourt was also very good. We loved the vegetable low mein and the cheesesteakwrap, and the waffles for breakfast are also very tasty.
It was really crowded at the hotel, but not too crowded. One can notice that the hotel is built for being crowded. There were always places to sit at the restaurant.
Nice tip maybe : you can eat your meal sitting at the purplecolored barsection as well. There are less people overthere!
All staffmembers at PopCentury were very nice and polite.
Our housekeeper even made Minnie Mouse and butterflies out of a towel!
We sure enjoyed staying at this new hotel!
Oh, I must not forget to mention the transportation, we never waited long for a bus! And in the evening when the parcs closed they even sent several busses to bring everyone to PopCentury.
We loved it.
We are planning to save some money and then we will be back very soon:wave:

:jumping1: :cool1: :jumping1:
I get more excited with every report - Thanks Fromeurope I'm glad you came on over from the other side of the lake. By the way I love the Netherlands!
:cool2::bounce::cool2:

I love WDW more than the Netherlands;)
By the way maybe it is a nice idea to open a Dutch section at Worldshowcase.
With a windmill and wooden shoes and tulipfields...
My boyfriend and I would really love to get a job overthere:teeth:

I think that is a wonderful idea and it would definately add to all the beer lovers experiences around the WS! pirate:

To go on topic again
If you visit PopCentury don't forget to look at the Big Mr and Mrs Potatoheadstatues, they are so cute. Wonderful place to take a picture!
Think we are allready making plans to return at PC in november.
But then for 14 nights, the 7 we stayed last week were way too short:D

we were there last week too in the 60s building.....the week went wayy too fast....we loved the resort....loved it..loved it...beds were great..i usually have a hard time sleeping in a strange place..there ..no way..out like a light....the rooms are a perfect size...love the decor....i dont have one bad thing to say....as for all the horrible things i heard about checking in...we arrived on monday got there at about 1...our room was ready and i was done checking in in about 5 minutes....woooo hoooo........no worries folks....pop century is the place to be....

We didn't have any troubles with checking in as well.
Everything went wonderfull and quick.
Even the last night when we left. I had made reservations with Mears-shuttle to take us to the airport, but there was something wrong with the pickuptime I got.
A wonderful guy, yes it was Tyler, phoned Mears for us to make new reservations. And then a taxi came to pick us up and not a bus, because the busses were full.
Tyler was soo nice, but I am a bit embarrassed about this, because I wanted to tip him and we were out of dollars. We don't use dollars here in Europe, so we spent it all. Only had some money left for the busdriver...
So Tyler if you read this, my apologies and when we come back I will bring you a little souvenir from Europe okay?:D
And again I will mention it we really loved PC!

Fromeurope,

I am so glad you had a great stay at WDW I remember when you where worried about not receiving your confirmation # yet...I'll be heading down to Pop Century next month thanks for the report.

Hi Magicinmyheart,
Maybe it is just human to worry about things:D
But I have learned my lesson now, next time I am not worrying anymore, just enjoying...
Hope you have a pleasant stay as well, but I am allmost certain about that. It is awesome at PopCentury.

Hey! I remember y'all! Don't worry about a tip at all, it was truly my pleasure! :) I'm glad y'all really enjoyed your stay with us :)

We sure did Tyler:D
We are allready planning our next trip!
It is only very annoying that the flight from the Netherlands to Florida is so expensive.
Disneyland Paris is nearby, but WDW is so much better.
And WDW is also much cheaper when you're there.
A sandwich at Disneyland will cost you at least $10!!!
