So pretty!

Then we used the back stairwell and made the journey to DTD to scope out some dinner.

The jumping fountain was on! Being that we had no real agenda, we watched this for quite a while, Henry really enjoyed it.

We decided that night on WPE, since we both loved it back in November, and Joe had missed out when I ate there earlier in the week because he was sick.

This time I ordered what I meant to back in November, the Rotisserie BBQ Beef Fire-Roasted Focaccia Melt.

Joe got.....pizza!

Me neither.

Henry got....fruit! (and he nibbled off ours)

No surprise there either!

And they were still OUT OF CREME BRULEE!

My meal was only "eh". I've heard rave reviews about these foccicia melt thingys, but I just didn't dig it that much. It wasn't bad by any means, just not my thing. Joe's sausage pizza was good, but he was a tad annoyed with the type of sausage they used when he had to cut little pieces for Henry. Henry, no complaints, just lots of "Num, num, num!".

After dinner we headed over to The Candy Mecca...

What a score on the room! I made a note of room 1301 in case I ever stay there! So glad the Skinny Cows didn't get lost and were treated with appropriate importance by the CM!

WOW....what a GREAT room!! Love the pics you took through the Mickey railings of Fultons, too cute!!! And love that you got some balcony pics of your family from the ground, those are precious pics of your new home. I have to say, you guys are truly loving this DVC experience, aren't you? I'm soooo jealous that we can't buy there yet, and wish we could while our boys are still young, just not sure it will ever happen....makes me sad, but the good news is I get to live vicariously through you, so THANK YOU!!! Love the quiet night at DTD, sorry dinner wasn't what you were hoping for. Candy mecca.....mmmm...

Brook, your updates are so much fun to read... you take us right along with you. Your studio looked very nice, good size for the 3 of you. Your view certainly made that room special, I still can't believe we haven't been to DTD before! Another reason to go back! I can always come up with good reasons!
It's sad that you are getting near the end of your TR but I know you are getting ready to share your next trip plans.
It's always funny to think about... you read someone's PTR and TR and you feel like you sort of know them. The internet is funny that way... I have enjoyed getting "to know" you guys. I have also enjoyed the bantering here on your TR regarding the Minnesota accents, quite entertaining!

Hey, who's saying us Minnesotans have an accent? (I'm on the phone a lot for my job and often get that "Fargo" comment.) Um, yeah, I guess we do. Heehee. And I have totally had a Malt Cup while being at a Twins game. There is nothing like that though it's been years for me too.

Wonderful update Brook. I think you got the best view SSR has to offer. They must have liked you all a whole lot. Or maybe cute Henry scored extra points or something like getting the free cookie.

Great update Brook! Your room was great!!! I love the picture through the mickey railing!! So cute! Henry looks like he was having a grand time playing on the balcony! I guarntee he wasn't the first or last to smudge the windows! I'm sure mousekeeping has seen it all!

What an amazing view you had with the new room. WOW. It seems really nice to be so close to DTD. We may just have to check out SSR for a trip. Glad to hear your review on the Focca melt thingy. I was on the fence about trying one and now I think I will just stick with the pizza which I love. Cant wait to hear more!!
