We finished our 22 eggs over easy and headed out to begin our day on CC a little later than many others (but not too too late!). We left the cabin, went down some stairs, around a hallway, through a gallery, under an overpass, clicked our heels three times and said "There's no place like CC" and voila! We disembarked! (Ok maybe that last part is made up, but really! Does anyone else out there think "WHERE'S THE DAMN CHEESE ALREADY?!!!" when trying to find the exit?)

Since we were on the opposite side of the ship, we were happy to finally be able to see this once we had hit the terra firma-
How amazing is THAT??!!! Now, the bad thing about getting off a little later than the others is that all of the hammocks are spoken for, and you will have to walk down much farther to find a seat on the beach. The good news? You'll have this guy almost all to yourself!
Don't forget your shades- that sun is BRIGHT!!! You'll also only have a short wait for my personal hero, Goofy, over at Mt Rushmore-
Yea, I don't care about a hammock- I'm here for the STARS!!! Anyway, we found some seats over by the rope whatchamacallit-
where the boys spent the morning going this far before they fell off, over and over again! That's DS11-
The only excursion we had signed on for was the Castaway Getaway Package, which included rafts or tubes, snorkel gear and bikes for all of us. Looking back now? I would just decide what I wanted of this stuff when I got there (but it's soooo hard NOT to sign up when you're sitting at your computer 105 days out, clicking on activities...). Anyway, we were not terribly far from the rafts and bikes, so I went to get some rafts for us. Why didn't I make DH be the pack mule for this job?

Well, as we learned before, I am too stupid to live!!

So I dragged all the rafts/floats back myself.
I sat down for about 30 seconds (wow, was that a relaxing, rejuvenating half minute!!) then stood up and announced I would be going to buy postcards now. I also wanted a pin. I was very antsy! So I went to the store- picked out a nice new towel, and chose between the 3 choices for a postcard.

Isn't that kind of surprising? I had waited to buy postcards on CC because I thought they would have some really cool ones to choose from. Let me tell ya, they don't. Buy your postcards and write them out before you get to CC, and mail them as you walk by the post office which is waaaaayyyyy baaaaaaack by the ship. Anyway, I made my purchase and sat on the beach to write out a few cards. On the way there, I passed the barbque which was almost set up-
After a bit, DS9 was hungry (how can that be???? You just ate 22 eggs!!!!) so he and I went to Cookies for lunch-
Here's my mahi sandwich, chicken and some salads, which I didn't eat much of...because I ate 22 EGGS for breakfast what felt like 10 minutes ago!
Back to the beach, where DS11 & DH were getting ready to go for lunch. DS9 went back in the water-
And then i asked him if he wanted to come with me to mail the postcards. So, rather than walk, we thought it would be nice to ride the tram. Too bad we got on the wrong one, going in the opposite direction! Really, where was my brain today??? Oh, that's right- I must have left it in the Palo loo the night before when I picked up something ELSE for brains, if you get my drift!

Well, from the tram, we did see LBIgirl67 and her family on a bike ride, and we waved to them, but I think they were confused by my hat- all except for their DS14, who waved to me before I waved- NICE!

So we got back to our starting point, and I still had postcards to mail. I decided I'd walk it, and leave DS9 with DH. There was lots to look at of course, on the way...
There was only one problem with this walk- lets see.....wet...thighs...walking....
OUCH!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you know what I mean. If you don't, you're sooooo lucky to be clueless!!!
Anyway, the post office had some very nice people all sitting outside of it, along with Brent, the Cruise Director, who was calling all around trying to find someone to work there. See, it's run not by Disney, it's run by the Bahamas gov't. It's their post office. So, they are on Island time. Meaning, it could be a 1 hour lunch break, or it could be a 4 hour lunch break, I guess. Fortunately, today lunch ended in an hour, and before long I was sending some mail. That was really the only opportunity I had to speak to Brent- he was really a sweetie, wish I had gotten to know him better!
I walked back to my lounge chair (OUCH!!!!!!) and took a bit of a break before we all went snorkeling...
