We Did It!!!

As some of you may recall, I've been having problems getting DS to sleep in his crib. Well, last night Mikey went to sleep around 10 while I was holding him. Around 10:30 I snuck upstairs with him and layed him down in his crib. He woke up and started crying a bit but I sat by his side and patted him on the back and sang to him a little bit and he fell back to sleep. Not only did he sleep, but he slept ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT! I'm so proud of him

could you pop on over to Flower Mound and get my 3 and 6 YO DD's to sleep in their new $2500.00 Cargo bed we just got?
We have such major sleep issues here. I never know where I am going to find my family in the morning when I wake up.
I will be th woman at Wal Mart w/ black cicles under my eyes.

Older ones I can get to sleep, no problem. My DD is five and she has a tv and dvd player in her room and she goes to sleep watching Disney movies. DS will probably end up the same way b/c my husband and I sleep with our tvs on so it kind of becomes a habit and since DD shared a room with us for almost two years it became a habit for her too. Nap time is a different story though...I sure cant get her to take a nap anymore but I can tell she still needs one b/c without one she gets really cranky around 4pm.

I was really relieved that DS slept through the night in his crib last night, but I woke up around 4am and realized that he still hadn't woken up yet and I got a little parinoid and had to go check on him. I'm just not use to it I guess. I hope we can do it again tonight.

Also, I'd like to thank everyone for the advise that was given to me a couple of weeks ago. I've used a bit of everyone's advise these past couple of weeks. Thanks guys

Yay Mikey! What a relief for you, Princess. I remember those days, and while I loved when my kids were babies, I didn't love the sleep issues.
