We booked through AAA upadates and questions

So we finally booked our trip through AAA. We are flying from KC to MCO on July 15th and staying in the Wilderness Cabins until the 25th.

Total with park hopper, and the Water parks was $4,000 for 6 people.

I thought it was a decent rate. We didn't do the dining plan because we plan to eat several meals at the cabin.

We did look into renting the "golf cart" at the cabin and nobody at AAA had heard anything about it, so they called Disney about it. $50 a day. WOW!!! I thought that was really high. $500 for a golf cart for ten days that will cost them a buck in gas. I know it is Disney but wow. Needless to say we aren't doing it.

My question is this: Should we request a certain cabin or area?


All in all we are very excited to get to Disney and know it will be over in a flash.


Thanks for all the help on this board. The quote we got from AAA was $200-300 cheaper than any other place we could find.

the loops I like is 2100 or 2600 loops in 2600 the cabins arn't so close togather. In 2100 you are closer to the main area.
Th Golf Carts might be a little pricey, in the same respect you will do most of your waiting on the internal buses to get you from point A to point B. You don't have to take the Golf Cart for length of stay you can get it for only a few days if you like. But if your family Bike rides you can rent bikes there also.

would you say 2100 or 2600 would be better. I am sure the cabins are close together just for the $$$$ purposes of getting more cabins in.

Is it really hectic to be up by the 2100 main area?


Also will my travel agent act wierd if I request an area or will they be used to it. Do most people request areas or just take what they get?
