Yuck, it is snowing and blowing so hard now. I don't think I could get out of the driveway if I had to. Windchill is really brutal too. I am not liking Michigan right now! Please motivate me to move out of this state to somewhere warmer!

Hi there jbmom - I'm in Kzoo too!!! I can't believe how fast it's coming down. We were out around noon, and there were tons of people out on Westnedge - I couldn't believe it!

It's really coming down now. I'm hoping for a Monday snow day!!!

Hey mla973! My crazy inlaws just went down to Stadium Dr. they live off of Ravine Rd. I told them stay home!! I'm hoping for a whole snow week!! The snow and wind I can handle, it's the cold temps and windchill that I really don't like!

The news says that our wind chill could go down to -20 tonight!! The wind is blowing worse than I've ever seen it at this time of the year. I swear the roof is going to come off.

Oh! and the power went off for a couple of seconds. Wouldn't that be awesome? -20 and no power?

Saw all that snow! WoW! what a mess. Been there, done that, and NOT going back.
Ohio is not all that great today, it is only 14 and the wind is cold!

Hello Everyone from snowy, cold, windy mid-Michigan (Lansing). Hope the blizzard like conditions stop soon for those of you in Kalamazoo. My Kzoo daughter is hoping the power doesn't go out. If it does, they're heading to a hotel.

wow, that is amazing. I am in the Toledo area and while it is VERY cold (we have a wind chill advisory until Monday at 1PM) we are not getting any snow--in fact the sun was out most of the day. The wind is blowing the 4 inches or so we got last week, but no fresh stuff. I don't think a low wind chill we even get us a 2 hour delay, let alone a closing!
I keep teasing my students who complain about having school with a 3-4 inch snowfall that they've never seen serious snow--the biggest since I've taught there was about 8". I remember in 78 when we got that 20 inches or so with these wicked winds!

Hi from Wyoming, Michigan!

I had to go to work today (I work at a mall) and you wouldn't believe all of the people shopping! The police are telling people to stay off the roads, and you head out to shop? By noon most of the food court had close, and the whole mall closed at 5p.m. So now I am safe at home and prepared to have a nice quiet weekend.
