So excited for Beauty and the Beast in 2 short weeks! I kind of wish it was not 3D though. They always charge $5 more to see the 3D movies.

Thank you so much for the info on BB and PF!!!! I am so excited to see Beauty and the Beast! It was my favorite as a child. Do you know what theater is playing it around here?

I am going to the Disney Store this weekend to pre-order Princess!! That will be a family favorite for sure!!

Oh wow!!! How exciting!! Can't wait to see B&B in 3D!! :woohoo:

This was always one of Gwendolyn's favorite (this is the "The Little Mermaid")
Katie~ both Covington and Hammond do not list that far in the future...and neither have it listed on their movies coming!:guilty: I hope one of the theaters around here show it...although, Gwendolyn told me I can't bring Ashton to see it...wonder how she would feel if I brought him with Chloe:rolleyes1

the theaters around here usually show it in both 3D and without maybe they'll do the same for you in your area:goodvibes

Hi Connie! Hope you have a great weekend. They say we are going to get 5-9 inches of snow today and tomorrow. I guess we'll see. I'm not too worried yet. Thanks for the B&B info. That's one of our favorites. :goodvibes

WOW! and to think you wanted the girls to see snow for the last winter storm you guys are really getting to experience it this year! Enjoy and stay warm!! You're welcome!!!

Hi, Connie. I've been avoiding a lot of threads lately with everything going on (you know what I mean) and with no trip planned. But checking in to say I've not forgotten you.

Hello! all

Danny and I are going for a night out with out the children...ALL the children. Dayne has been told HE BETTER GET FOR SCHOOL IN THE MORNING (I have already set his clock), and unless something major happens they are to call my parents...
we have decided this is our "Valentine's" celebration early:love:...we don't normally celebrate valentine's day (when you work in a flower shop like I did for years and years you really don't want to hear the word :rotfl2: )...

I plan to stop at the disney outlet store on our way to the coast and hopefully talk to Danny about May again. we have decided to pay down our few bills and buy Dayne his new engine for his Mustang with our taxes...but, it should leave us enough for a nice "Graduation celebration":mickeyjum in Disney for Dayne...wish me luck! pixiedust: if not I will be booking our Nov trip next week!

Have a great sunday/Monday! everyone!!!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful time and good luck :wizard:

Have a great time together, Connie!! :goodvibes

Morning Connie,

I hope you had a great time on your adults only trip. Everybody needs that every now and then!

Well, we got back in Monday and what did we do...went to bed! I never have problems sleeping in a hotel. But, for some reason I could not sleep Sunday night (Danny has me use to sleeping with a fan and I think I was missing the white noise). But, we did have a nice time...just way too short. We got a late start! we stopped at the Disney store outlet...I bought Ashton four shirts (two long sleeve for next year and two short sleeve) and I bought him a new water bottle (trying to get off of sippy cups and moving on to water bottles and straw cups). Children's Place had an awesome winter sale ($3.99 and less for everthing considered winter) people walking through the store had clothes in their arms completely at arms length:rotfl: and I did not want to wait in the line; I had told Danny let's come back tomorrow on the way home and see if they have anything left:rolleyes1 didn't happen.

Danny had been working on Dayne's car that morning and did not take any time to eat :sad2: so we had to stop and get him a small burger on the way to the hotel. We took our time and drove along the coast (it was sunset already). We checked in and Danny said he was still really hungry so we went down to eat at the buffet. we really enjoyed dinner without Ashton, and we had never been offered wine or beer with our dinner. Well I think I had three glasses of wine. Poor Danny has not drank beer in so long and on an empty stomach he paid for trying to have a beer with his dinner. So, did we hit the casino--NO! we went back to the room and this is very "G" rated we watched the Pro Bowl...no joke. After the game we went walk around the resort; we missed walking along the pool deck and overlooking the gulf by about 15 min. It was cold anyway. Monday we ate a late breakfast checked out and took the scenic route home. We did have a wonderful night out with just the two of us...we needed that...I'm trying to plan another one at the end of Feb and hopefully we can get started a little earlier or maybe I'll plan two nights this go round....

Oh! and I did not forget to mention Disney on this trip (never do :rolleyes1 ) I got the usual, "we'll see, let's see what we have after we finish doing what we need to catch up on" so, what does that mean...depends on what he spends on Dayne's car engine and what it cost to have our central a/c fixed I do not want window units in my windows this summer.

more later...
:wave2: Have a great day!

Ok - finally all caught up! :goodvibes Thanks for the info about Beauty and the Beast in 3D! That is my favorite Disney movie by far - I would love to see it in 3D!

What a wonderful weekend for the two of you. So deserved. I know you thought of Ashton the whole time you were gone. It is after 10 pm and I'm still up. I'm waiting my pudding. The queen ordered. I've become a disaster. Everything is just doing. Have to wait 3 weeks to see if it works.\\

Hugs and kisses to all

Ginny

Well, you just as well become a queen and find a way to enjoy being pampered...make the best of it. and, royalty should get her pudding anytime she feels like it...wouldn't you agree...

I called my mom twice once on the road and again during the pro bowl game...:lmao: had to check on Dayne, too...making sure he ate. BTW don't you know I called him to wake him up Monday morning...he plans to move to Nashville next year...hope he learns to work an alarm clock.

you must have your nights and days mixed up...like Ashton and I...I get Chloe tomorrow so we really need to get to bed...he is almost there

night...
hugs and kisses and don't forget the tickles from Ashton!

It sounds like you had a great night out! Nice & relaxing. You just keep working on Danny about the Disney trip!! :rotfl:

I miss you, Ginny!

Aww, sounds like you guys had a really nice time! It's always so nice to do things like that without the kids! It's rare for us too though!

And it sounds like you got some nice Disney store findings!!! Good job. I just love the disney store!!

So, I spent a big part of the day yesterday pricing out different options for May, AGAIN! :rolleyes1: , Dayne is having the recruiter from the school in Nashville come and meet with us on Wednesday next week. So, I think he may be serious...I think this would be good for him but at the same time he has NEVER been away from home. My children did not do camp...I tried several summers with Gwendolyn and Dayne went away one weekend. The program is only 14 months or so, and he loves TN (the Gatlinburg area) I hate to see him go that far and spend that kind of money and not like it because of being home sick.

So, back to my plans -- Danny would really like to wait until Nov. but, if we go in Nov Dayne will not be able to join us and he has his heart set on returning to Disney (remember he wanted this to be his Sr trip--and since his friends can't agree where they quit talking about it). Well, just before I went to bed last night I had the weather channel on and it mentions our really wet December and that it is an indication that it will be a wet spring (I SURE HOPE NOT!). That put a real damper on my excitement!

Trying to plan something a bit different this year as for our travels...does anyone know what town is about two/three hours away from WDW...I'm thinking of stopping there the first night getting up early and checking into the Royal Pacific for one night (so, we can use the Express lines at US/IOA) and than moving on to either the POP or POR (we will be a party of 5 if Dayne only brings one friend--if he brings more than one friend I think I will book them at the POP or ASSp and us at POFQ or CBR).
