Dayne has decided that since he can not join us in Nov and May is out...he wants to go to Disney during his break in April....

The dates will be Sat April 24 - May 02
Danny and I still have some sit down and finalizing to do and I am waiting on the new price for the townhouse for the three nights we will be at Universal. But, I have made some ADR's (just make it feel real, FINALLY, for me...sick right )

well here they are:
Sunday April 25 LeCellier 11:50 am
Monday 26 Donald's Safari Breakfast 8:10 am
Tuesday 27 Ohana's Best friends Breakfast 7:45 am
Wednesday 28 Whispering Canyon Cafe 5:15 pm
Thursday 29 Chef Mickey 7:20 am

Friday and Saturday will be spent at US/IOA and
drive home on Sunday!

So, for all my dreaming and planning I think this is our plans for the 2010 year. I may not keep all five ressie's but I will have to decide what to keep and not keep if we decide not to go with the DDP. If we do go with the DDP only Danny and I will use it...the boys will all be listed on a different room and Dayne and his friend do not want the DDP so that works great for me.

I don't know if I will spoil things by telling people what happend.... but OMG it was so funny- Owen actually almost threw up because he was laughing so hard LOL The food was pretty good too!

I love the plan!! I have never been in April but as you know went the first week in May and it was hot and sunny everyday!!

WOW Connie, your dates have changed a lot. I'm the exact same. We scrapped this weekend; way too crowded (like every state has the whole week of), high of 55, and no resorts available. Last night I tried the last weekend in Feb. and perfect! Every resort is available. We'll either do POFQ or POP. I have to look at pictures to see if it's worth the extra about 80. Only for 2 nights so we'll skip DHS but I'm so excited. The parks will be empty. Hope April works out for you! Do you know where you are going to stay? If you can make those ADRs 2 months in advanced you'll be fine crowd wise.
Wow, you're so brave for the superbowl. Congrats on the Saints winning. I really wanted the Jets to be in but for the superbowl I was rooting for the Saints!
Thanks for the movie info. We just watched TS 1 and 2 for Disney night this past week and the girls loved the movies! We all fell in love with them all over again. It was like our first time watching it we didn't remember it at all!

Hey Barbara! We are going with the POP; only because we need two rooms...I wanted to try the CBR. I have never done the POP yet but we loved the POFQ, small, quiet, and quaint...a dream of what we wish New Orleans was really like! If we bring Dayne (and he really wants to go) we have to do April, June, or July and we are not interested in the heat of the later two months. According to a list Becky has listed the week we have chosen is suppose to be a slow week. I hope it will be a great week!

the DDP comes to $400 for Danny & I; if we do OOP with what is listed along w/the CS we will need it will be $380 (that does not include LeCellier--I can't afford to eat there OOP )...last year we allotted $25 per day per person and we did not spend that...so I have more number crunching to do...not only that I think I'm leaning to room only ressies and getting the tickets from a discount retailer and do the 6 day hopper for the price of the four day...decisions, decisions,,,wish Danny would sit down with me and help me make our choices. If not he better not complain...

If you do room only reservation you can get a discount with AAA right? Do you have AAA?

Goodness gracious! You've sure moved up your dates from the original plans. First, November, then May and now April. You'll be there before you know it!

It snowed here all yesterday afternoon, all night last night and most of this morning. I measured and we had about 4 inches of snow. It was sooooo beautiful. Now, the sun is halfway shining and most of the snow is gone. Oh well, it was beautiful while it was here.

we did this last year too! we were suppose to go the week after Christmas 2008, than heard it was way too crowded; than Gwendolyn was accepted into the college program so we were trying to plan for the week of MLK day week; than, Mardi Gras, and finally ended up going the week Dayne got out of school.
I decide we are going; start planning and than they have their nerve to have reasons why we can't go... so, Dayne said it has to be the week of his Spring break.

hope Hunter had a great time in the snow! It was really pretty falling; never did stick!

It just started snowing (again) here as well!
It's not sticking yet, but maybe soon?

Hey Leanne!
I watch Chloe tomorrow so nothing during the day (I did want to take Ashton to a day time parade--he has never been) but, we may have to wait until Sunday...but, looks like we are going to wait until next year. We already celebrated our Valentine's holiday early. I may try and talk Danny into driving out to the coast for crabs...we'll see.

We are getting ready to go watch Dayne play basketball; but, he just said this will be the first time in five years that he does not start (he missed practice Wed night when the recruiter was here).

Danny does not go back to work until Wednesday and I will not have Chloe back until Thursday after tomorrow...so, hopefully we can find something to do this week. Wish I could talk him into going to the museum of art to see the Disney exhibit...it leaves in March...maybe if I play the valentine thing he'll take me

I know it was CRAZY!!!(the thing is I know better-that is why I could not believe I did that) I paniced when I hit traffic and seen all the people walking...I still wish I had gone with my original thought..parking fees were crazy...the garages by the Saegner wanted $40 BUT like you said the engery of the city was AWESOME! just wish I woulld have thought to walk down the Iberville earlier!

OOOooooo! I hope you like it! The kids in the area are great! but, I can not stand the administration there (esp the secretary--she is very rude and ugly to EVERYONE!). I have like ALL the teachers that both Gwendolyn and Dayne has had. I know Elizabeth Vineyard (she teaches English and yearbook),but, she is the only teacher I knew personally. I did not sub at PHS by request of Dayne. He was so funny as a kid he wanted me at Champ Cooper everyday by the time he made HS he did not want me on campus.
I really think you will like it there!

I know I have so much to do this week to plan this trip. I need clothes!
Ashton of course had so much clothes he barely gets to wear it all and I just bought him 5 plaid shorts to go with all his disney t-shirts. Dayne and Danny for chrismtas my mom had hit a sale on shorts for $4@ at Belk so they both have like eight pair of shorts (Danny needs a few shirts). I want to try and find some bermuda shorts (I don't normally wear that; but, I think I'm too old and too heavy to wear the mid thigh shorts this year).

Oh! and Dayne's friend has a pickup truck so we have decided to get some industrial garbage bags and take our own stroller; I just need to find a rain cover for it!

Update! on Dayne
He started his game last night and was slated to play the entire game. He came down hard on his hand and wrist in the 2nd quarter. He played the thrid quarter and most of the fourth and than could not take it anymore (the thing is he did not tell ANYONE he had hurt his wrist). He was going to go shoot more bball after the game with some friends from both teams and could barely drive his car. So, I bet I'm at the doctor Monday morning...making him keep ice and take Aleve...so hopefully its just a bad sprain and he feels better soon.
