It started raining here around 2 and has not stopped it is a light rain just a constant rain...ugghh!

I think my uncle and his family will be better off when it is over! Since my aunt decided to have him placed in a home he just went down hill and that is not living staying sedated in bed 24/7.... Danny's Dad is in bed and unable to move or communicate; but, MIL takes excellant care of him (although, I know she is tired-but she will never say it) she has a flat screen tv in front of him and plays different things...movies, games, so on... since his last stroke earlier this year he quit speaking he just looks around... to top it all he has Alz. too! but MIL won't admit it

I'm sorry they didn't take you this year. Be sure to try again. You deserve to be there. They should have asked my opinion.

Now about your earliers post. I'm so sorry to hear the news but I know exactly what you are saying. We are a long way from that with Don's dad but I can see the day coming. Mom won't ever put him in a home but she will run herself ragged taking care of him. And that is not good either. Why does life have to get so hard sometimes?

Thanks! Jen and Ginny; let's be real...I knew I wouldn't be chosen (I think I would have passed out if I would have been) just did to see what all the hype was about!! I was bored while Danny & Peter Pan were watching car stuff one night! Although, I am the self appointed disney expert around these parts, I really don't know much!!! Like I just learned about the teardrop this week!!! (wish I had known about it when we went in May--doubt any characters would have been there w/all the rain we had been having! )

The beautiful sun is out today!!!! I think we are suppose to get rain tomorrow night and than we are finally suppose to turn cold!! a wopping 70* as a high w/ sun!!! for the weekend!!

I would set out to go somewhere today but I think Dayne needs my car for work!!! His was running really good and he asked if he could use my car to go to haunted houses this weekend; I told him to use his own car--he said he didn't trust it until he gets a new carburator. Well, yesterday morning the carb starting acting up again. I hope we are able to get a new one before the end of the month a fix that crazy thing...

Gwendolyn & Joe are going to his brother's wedding in FL on the Atlantic (now I can't remember where). Anyway the are leaving this afternoon when she gets in from school!! I hope the weather clears enough for their ride!

The sun did the same thing here Connie. One minute it would be raining and then the sun would be shining. It was cooler today though. Dallas and I had to go to GameStop and get the Pokemon game I had reserved for him, the sun was shining when we got in the car to go and within the 30 or so minutes we were in GameStop and then Walmart, the rain was starting. I am glad the weather is going to be cool this weekend though .

I hope the weather is as beautiful as they say!!!
We are currently thinking of taking Peter Pan to a pumpkin patch and farm Sat (but, my mom just told me that if my uncle passes away in the next day or two my aunt plans to have his viewing and funeral Sat hospice stopped feeding him Sat/and started the morphine last night)

too bad about Mom's panel--I agree with all the other postings that you should definitely try again for it.

Gwendolyn just texted me and told me that Joe just pulled off at the Pensacola rest stop to take a nap. This boy is doing more and more to make me not like him!!! I have been wishing he was not living with us for a little while now!!

If she was not four hours away and we did not have a dense fog advisory Ashton and I would go pick her up!!! I am not going to be able to sleep knowing he has her in this situation...he told her they are ok he parked them next to the security guard and it is a safe stop.... jerk!

He was not ready to leave when she came in from school and he had been up since around 5 this morning! uugghh!!! this wedding has been planned for months, he does not have a job or anything of importance to do he should have napped and been ready when she got home...noooooo!!! he stops at a rest stop instead of a cheap hotel for the a nap.....it is taking everything not to cry; but, Ashton is sitting here---I really need to get this child on a sleeping schedule...he is normally in bed by 8:45//9:15

He thinks because he was in Iraq he is able to take care of himself...he has no clue the difference between real world and war!! he had a gun and a unit with him...not his girlfriend and a small handgun...not to mention his body is shot...his injuries took it out of him...I really don't care if he was a Marine or not with my daughter on the side of a road...she sent a text what can happen?!? I told her nothing...

I didn't want to tell her...let's see they have murders, rapes, burglaries, and no telling what else at rest stops!!!uuugghhh!!

I bet Danny lets him have it Sunday when they get home...Danny is tired of the way Gwendolyn and Joe talk to Ashton!!! they have been calling him a baby when he does things...when they take the time to play with him its great; but, they think they can correct him--NOT!! no more than they can correct Dayne!
