Hey Everyone, I figured while I had a free moment, I would start our PTR since I plan on turning this LIVE once we arrive at the VGF! 
Alittle background for you, My husband and I just recently became DVC members in June
we had some left over pts from the previous owner so hubby decided to surprise me with another trip to Disney to see our new "home" at BWV. He is just so sweet 
Needless to say, I was in shock once I went to check availability at the BWV because it was completely booked for our dates 
Not only that, but the only DVC that was not sold out was SSR (Mind you, this was after that 7 month booking window,so now I know why) Pixie Dust was definitely shot our way because once reservations opened up for the VGF we were able to grab a 2 Bedroom Dedicated Lake View 
Back to the vacation now, So it's me, Hubby,DS4 and DS1 definitely going, along with my MIL&FIL. We are arriving on Nov. 10 and Departing on Nov. 15. We picked this week since we will have a day or two of F&W which I LOVE and also we will get to attend MVMCP(haven't been since '09).
ETA: SIL,BIL,Nephew 4, Niece 2, Nephew <1 will be joining us on Vacation. They will be staying at the Polynesian though. We are flying down together, but we had to add a day onto our trip, so on November 9th we will be checking into the Polynesian for one night before the VGF
We've decided to not go nuts this trip with rushing around since we were just there is March. So mainly one park a day(though we'll see how well that works out
)

As I am sure you've seen on Multiple Threads, I am like the others and not- so-patiently waiting for word on Magic Bands and FP+.
Well, that is it for right now. I will definitely be checking back in before vacation and I hope you all join in on the fun during our "Grand" Christmas Vacation

I really enjoy reading the live reports, it almost makes you feel like your on vacation as well! This is why I decided to do a live report and also, I am sure everyone will be dying to see pix of the Grand 
Great! This is getting me more excited to share our vacation! I honestly thought I would be solo on this thread 
My SIL didn't want to fly separately, so I suggested arriving a day earlier since their was a flight that was wide open 
Obviously the VGF was sold out for Saturday night, BUT we were able to book a room at my favorite resort...THE POLYNESIAN !!!!!!!!
. The lobby and the lobby smell are still the same. I walked over by Hawaii last night to see construction, didn't seem bad. It does look like the bungalows will block a lot of the Hawaii 1st floor TPV rooms.
