We Are Here To Change The World.......Maybe Not - Completed

We Poppins when it first opened and Beauty and the Beast just a few years ago when they announced that it would be closing. Poppins completely blew us away and Beauty and the Beast was absolutely ready to close! Even the performers were so lackluster is was kind of sad.

We had tickets for Little Mermaid the second weekend after opening but then there was a stagehand strike and Broadway was dark for a while. We got out money back but by the time we were ready to reschedule, reviews had come out and they were NOT good so we just skipped it.

What a bummer about the shows!!! Little Mermaid did not last long - and I guess that's why! :sad2:

Mary Poppins is still incredible, just saw it last month. Ahhhh, loved it.

Hey Christy! I just discovered your tr and am caught up!
Love the pic with Jiminy and your dad lurking in the background. :rotfl:

We had issues with Tusker House last summer also, they were over 45 min late getting us in for breakfast just like you. I have to wonder if they may need to tweek their ressies a bit.

Love all your purchases! I have the Mickey bottle topper from our 2002 trip. I so need that wireless mouse! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the job!! This school year is off to a promising start, you deserve it after all you've had to deal with. :goodvibes

Hey!! Thanks for coming along! I've been very busy with the start of the school year but I will do a few updates really soon.

I also think Tusker House needs to do something. I was miserable by the time we got to eat. I was hungry!

I love the mouse. It's tiny so it fits in the hand. Plus the cute look helps hehe

I started responding the other day and I got 'fooled' by your links! :lmao::lmao:

I was like getting on the plane to waking up to goto MK... is this the twilight zone? :lmao:

Anyways.... :rolleyes1

Why are airport workers so bitter? What is their problem?

Your room looked amazing! Awesome view!!!

It must be great watching Wishes from your room. Can you hear the music from there?

You got a lot accomplished the morning of MK... glad you were able to go back to CR and relax!

Loved the pics from Wishes... I wish I was in MK watching it right now!

MAN... your AK day just wasn't working out. You picked the 'best' park to be in for a 105 degree day huh? :scared1: :lmao:

I love when you ask a question to a CM and they have no idea what you are talking about! :sad2:

NOTE TO SELF: Start with post #80! :)~ ;)

Are you planning a trip to DL?!

I'm trying to find info. If I go one day...maybe soon...I want to know everything.

Getting back to CR and relaxing was key to this trip.

I was getting frustrated that they had no idea what I was talking about. Aren't they briefed on new things?

Thanks. There's like a 95% chance we are going to DL next summer. I'm starting to get excited.

Our next stop was the Germany pavillion. We mostly just walked around and didn't buy anything.

I stopped in Japan. I had a mission. I wanted to get some "Domo" merchandise for my friend Carrie. Remember, she's the nice one who sent me the postcard that came from Japan. So I thought I'd buy her something from Japan. And she loves Domo. So a Domo plush was selected.

We walked to the UK, and sat down and relaxed. We also took the time to drink. I was sooooooooooo thirsty and had not realised it.

My mom wanted to have a smoke so she and I walked to the Canadian pavillion to the smoking area while my dad stayed in UK and relaxed. We said we'd go and get him. When my mom was done, she went back to get him while I waited there for them. Well, all of a sudden.....

So I ran and took cover near the Canada restrooms.

I called my parents, and we decided to stay put for a bit, and they'd come to join me later.

After a bit, the rain slowed down, and my parents caught up to me. The rain lasted around 30 minutes.

We had a 4h10pm ressie at Le Cellier and wanted to see if we could check-in earlier. Well turns out, they are closed until 4pm. So they told us to come back at 3:45pm to check-in.

So we went outside to wait. Dad decided to catch O'Canada once more. My mom and I weren't feeling it, so we waited for him.

We checked-in at 3:50pm and were seated at 4pm.

Our server was named Melissa and was really nice. Did you know that the tables are separated in provinces? Well, turns out we were seated in the Quebec section.

We had 3 different kinds of bread. Each represented a different part of Canada. My mom and I loved the pretzel bread. Dad loved the sourdough.

My dad and I had the filet mignon with the mushroom risotto. I was in heaven! It was PERFECT!

My mom said she had never seen me enjoy a meal that much. And I'm someone who loves to eat. So that tells you how good that is!

Mom had the New York Strip steak with potato gratin. She said it was really good too.

For dessert I had the chocolate "moose" and my dad had the maple creme brulee. It was so yummy! I didn't care for the cookies that made the "moose" but the "mousse" was yummy.

After dinner, we walked out of the park. Let's just say, it wasn't a quick walk. We needed to digest lol

On the way out we stopped at the "Art of Disney" store. My mom had wanted an image for a while now, so we decided now was the time to get it.

We took the monorail back. Once again, let me tell you that this stupid "hill" you have to walk up is ridiculous.

We were back at the hotel at 6pm.

That is when I realised I had a sunburn. Well actually I had felt a bit of it during dinner. But now I noticed that the left side of my cleavage was pink and it was starting to hurt. (More on that later).

We went to get sodas and decided to watch a movie.

"My Life in Ruins" was selected.

We spent the rest of the evening relaxing, reading and watching tv.

Le Cellier lunch sounds great! I'll make room for that one, some day!

Yuck to those rain pictures! I'm hoping nothing like that happens in October with hurricane season!!!

Yay that you guys are talking about DLR!!! I've got a ton of info to share (once I'm done with my LSAT!)

Sooooo cool that you might go to DL next summer!! I've always wanted to but the flights are so much more expensive than WDW. It's also much farther away but much smaller so we just can't seem to ever decide on when to go. I'll definitely be interested in that TR! :thumbsup2

LOVE World Showcase! The filet at Le Cellier is sooo delicious! I also love that it's split into provinces and that the wait staff stop to give you some information about it. Just the atmosphere of that place is so cool.

Saturday July 24 - Sunny 100F

I had a really hard time getting up that morning. I just couldn't seem to wake-up.

At one point, my mom decided to wake me up and said that they had a surprise for me. Since we had the discount, we could go to the Emporium and get my things for my future appartment. Well, that helped me get up lol

We were at the Magic Kingdom at 10am, we shopping was done, as you've seen in my souvie pics.

After that, my dad and I went to the Carousel of Progress. Yeah, I like it. I'm a geek lol

Don't worry. No flash was used. I didn't disturv anyone.

After the Carousel, we met back up with mom and went to eat at Pecos Bill. What can I say, we like that place. The thing I like the most about it is the fact that it's darker.

After that, we walked back to the train station and dad decided to go back to the hotel.

Mom and I decided to stay a bit longer and hang out.

Here are some pics that were taken.

I wanted to wait for the parade, but I was too exhausted and burned out to wait. My sunburn was actually starting to really hurt.

I decided to try to get it to heal fast with aloe and I kept applying it. I was feeling cold a bit too. So I went back to bed while my parents watched tv.

I don't remember what we did for dinner. I know we ate at the resort. But dunno if we ate a meal, or just snacked. I watched the fireworks and went back to bed.

The rain wasn't that bad though. I was like the last day it rained during our trip.

Yay! I need the info. I feel so lost and confused! lol

Turns out the flights from here are not as expensive as I thought. I even thing that with United they are less expensive I think.

It was our first time, and we plan on going back to Le Cellier.
