Hello everyone on the Dis. I am very new to this and hope this works out. I thought I would do a very quick pre-trip report. So, a little about who's going.

ME!!! 28(almost 29)

Dbf !!!! 45

We were suppose to go last September, but decided to take the big step and move in with each other so we had to cancel. Jump to now....we had our plane voucher from Southwest that needed to be used by April, so we decided on a quick, two day trip. From Boston to Orlando.

We are leaving on April 20th very, very, very, early in the morning. We hope to spend the day in DTD and then we have reservations at Boma that evening. Dbf is a picky eater but suggested it. I am really looking forward to it. Tuesday will be crazy. Two parks..... in ONE DAY!!!!! Epcot and MK. I hope we can do it!!!???:rotfl2:

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We love this place. So romantic:lovestruc

My parents and watching our dogs so off we go. I hope everyone will look forward to the trip report.

I thought I would add to my pre-trip report with a little countdown!

So, as I write, we leave in 5 days, 13 hours, 31 min. and 54...53....52...51 seconds.:rotfl2:

We went to Walmart over the weekend to stimulate the economy and picked up some travel needs. Since we are only going for two days, we picked up those travel size things.

We have been breaking in our sneakers since we won't be able to take a huge break during our two parks one day. I heard that crocs are the best disney shoe??>>?? :confused3 Any one agree??

If anyone has done two parks in one day, I would love some advice.

In the upcoming installments.....there will be the dusting off of suitcases, buying new clothes and other exciting things.popcorn::

I alternated -- crocs, sandals, and more comfy shoes. We didn't walk all that much more than usual, but then, I was with DD4 and Mr. Takeiteasy.
On your trip, you'll probably walk 3x as much in your one big day. And I guess you are stuck with whatever shoes you stick on that morning.

DD did get some blisters, so we also did the crocs with socks style. Very, very comfy. Doesn't make for great photos, though, and I don't know if I'd ever have had the nerve to do that with a DBF. :rotfl:

2 days and counting!!

I am at work right now and am counting down until 1130 when I can fly out of here. I have this weekend off before we leave which I am very greatful for.

So, and update!!!

I put together our luggage tags:cheer2: and that's about it! Saturday will be very busy. We'll be going to the bank, then off to Kohl's, get the luggage out, pack the bathroom supplies and clothes:eek: The Sunday is Easter for me. I'm Greek Orthodox and poor Dbf will be surrounded by my family and all their craziness:laughing:

An hour and half and I'll be free from work for the next 10 days!!

Thanks for following my pre-trip report!

The Night Before!!!

I hope all is well with everyone!!

See you in Disney!!!
