Been a few years since we did Disney. TGM is gone I guess? I read health issues, I hope he is well. I loved that site. Been avoiding Disney because of the changes. Between TGM and experience, I used to be a Disney semi-expert but with the new FP+ and rides I'm going to have to start over :(.

Just subscribed to tourguideplans (TGP). Any other good resources? Free or pay, I don't mind paying, IMO it's a good investment on a $4-5K vacation.

For us its all about limiting wait times and avoiding crowds. Earliest we can leave is June 6. According to DIS and common sense we should go that 2nd week, but looking at the crowd calendar in TGP, I see some lower numbers later in the month. In fact one of the lowest days in the Star Wars weekend, even AT the park where it is at. This leads me to question the validity of TGP crowd calendar. But maybe the thought is people rush to Disney that 2nd week and the 3rd week is just after the rush but still before peak (assuming it is in July?).

Thanks in advance for any help...

Disney Gay Days are in the earlier part of the month which I think contributes to the busier times. I would go with Easy WDW's (free) crowd calendar. Rumor on here is it's more accurate.

I rely on EasyWDW's crowd calendars and they're free. I've been using them for years and haven't been steered wrong yet. With June you'll typically see lower crowds earlier in the month that steadily increase as the month progresses as more kids are summer vacation.

Ditto. I really rely on the cheat sheets and crowd calendars at easywdw.com We usually go to DW during the last week of June because our kids don't get out of school until at least the 15th or 16th of the month and we always leave home on a Saturday. We've always found that with a little planning you can stay one step ahead of the crowds and still have a great visit. In general, early mornings and late evenings/nights are the best times to get things done in the parks.

I think the last three weeks of June aren't as busy, though yes, the crowds are building. At least it won't be as crowded during that time as it will be at the height of summer vacation.

If ADR availability is any indicator, and I think sometimes it is, it took awhile even into the fourth week of June for those hard to get reservations to get snatched up. Meaning CRT had early pre RD ADRs that sat for days, as did CP. Even BOG had tables for parties of 2 and 4 for dinner sit an entire day at the 180 day mark before they finally disappeared in the evening. In July those tables were gone pretty much right at 6am. That kind of corroborates what your crowd calendar is indicating.

I guess I meant easyWDW, not DIS, right? So I found the calendar y'all were talking about. Nicely laid out. Reminds me of TGM. It shows 8's all through June. There are quite a few conflicts, interesting, I would have thought they would have been more similar. I don't want to give out "paid" info but I want to point out a specific day with general comments. June 13, Saturday, Star Wars Weekend: eWDW shows an 8, TGP is lower for all parks, even HS where it says SWW will be. I'm an engineer so I'll go ahead and apologize. I would tend to believe eWDW using the info I have, later in the month, Weekend day, SWW. Have any of you used TGP and what did you think?

Do you guys find weekdays are typically better than that weekend (same week)? TGP is saying most weekends are better, even MK. If I remember, TGM said try to avoid MK on weekends and Mondays.

BTW, is there a paid easyWDW calendar or subscription?
