Wow! I'm surprised that they took so long to find this out. Do you have any more info on what their crimes were? For COrey, I'd guess fraud imitating Smokey Robinson. Not sure I can guess Trenyce's crime.

'AMERICAN IDOL' CLARK EXPELLED

March 31, 2003 | The latest "American Idol" controversy has resulted in the expulsion of finalist COREY CLARK. FOX released a statement Monday afternoon saying, "Corey withheld information about a prior arrest which, had it been known, might have affected his participation in the show." The high-profile FOX show runs a routine background check on all participants, but due to "an error in a police report which misspelled Corey's name, the incident was not discovered."

Clark has been charged by the Shawnee County, KS, District Attorney's office with three misdemeanors, including the battery and criminal restraint of his 15-year-old sister. A third count of resisting arrest has also been levied against him. The charges stem from an October incident during which neighbors allegedly called Topeka police after hearing a girl yelling inside the Clark home. After both were questioned separately, Clark was allegedly forcibly placed under arrest. According to the Smoking Gun website, Clark is scheduled to appear in court April 15 and two of his sisters are listed on the prosecution's potential witness list. '

MARCH 27--Meet Lashundra Cobbins. The 22-year-old Memphis woman is better known as "Trenyce," one of the nine remaining "American Idol" finalists. And, in the proud tradition of reality TV, the unemployed singer has a rap sheet. Cobbins was busted in October 1999 on a felony theft charge, for which she was placed the following year in a pre-trial diversion program by a Shelby County Criminal Court judge (one of those, "keep your nose clean and we'll expunge the records" deals). Below you'll find Cobbins's official mug shot, as recorded by the paparazzi of the Memphis Police Department. According to a Q&A segment on the Fox Television web site, when Cobbins was asked about the most embarrassing moment of her life, she answered, "I don't have one that I can think of." The kid's real modest. Per network policy, a spokesperson told TSG that Fox does not comment on the private lives of its reality show participants. But since Cobbins apparently told "American Idol" producers about her criminal history, she's safe for now (until, of course, America votes her off the island).

I'm surprised that someone got a hold of her mug shots. The decision sounds like an Adjournment on Contemplation of Dismal (ACOD), which would seal the records. Anyway, AI may have forgiven her, but I don't know how you can call her an idol after this news. Not that I'm worried, she'll never beat out CLay and Ruben.

I believe I speak for my fellow players when I say we wish to file a formal appeal to the WDWWDS AI game committee...I think we deserve some points for predicting the future...and technically we did pick the next one to be voted off...I don't want to stir up a controversy here...but I do want those points

Hmmmm...Madonna...that is impossible...not because of the obvious reasons though....since the Lottario (a clever name BTW...) is in the great country of Canada...we in the States are ineligible to predict those numbers...only Canadians may do that (a little-known clause in the NAFTA treaty )
So sorry...but I will tell you this...the numbers will fall somwhere between 1 and 80...so that narrows it down...

Now can we have the points??

(BTW...as a future prediction...I say that on tonight's show: Randy will call someone "Dawg"; Paula will say something inane; and Simon will speak the harsh truth to some contestant who is unwilling to hear it...How's that for going out on a limb??? )

I hate to say it ('cause I really like the guy...) but I think that it's going to be Josh this week...

I love him and I know America does also, him being a marine and all - BUT...if America *puts that aside* and vote's based on *performance only* IMHO - his was by far the worse...not to mention I hate *Kool and the Gang*...(if I am a country music producer I would be ALL OVER this guy as soon as he is eliminated...)

Surprisingly (cause I am NOT normally a fan) I thought that Kimberly Locke did the best! I LOVE that song and quite honesty (someone might flag me for saying this) but...I thought that she did a better job with it then when Kelly Clarkson sang it...

oh yeah Mlcar - Clay is still my hero also...I LOVE Ruben too - but to me he is very *slow, smooth* sounding, and I am not much of a Luther Vandross or Barry White fan...so between the 2 (they are my fav's) I have to say yet again *Clay-Clay-Clay*

Well let me start off with a prediction as I have been inspired by the Great Higgs – I think That Kim C, one of Clay’s girlfriends will be booted off tonight. Another prediction, there will be a hell of a lot of commercials tonight. As for the winning numbers Madonna, that really is easy. You say that there are 49 numbers, simply play every possible combination and I predict you will win the lottery. How many combinations can there possibly be, three or four … hundred million?
