WDW Water: Still sweet and pure!!

My bottom three: Rickey, Kimberly C. and oh how I hate saying this, it just breaks my heart, Joshua :( :( :( :( :( :(

However, we will be saying buh-bye to Kimberly C. The fact that Josh is a Marine will eek him through this way bad performance. Did anyone think he looked sad about something? Not really sick but just upset, I mean even at the beginning before his performance. He was not into it at all. He looked like he didn't even want to be there. But in grand OT tradition, I voted for him a zillion times. He still gets votes for the hat last week. ;) :p

Clay, dawg, you need to loosen up. This IS NOT broadway. Move it a little, do something besides rolling your eyes and saying thank you. Come on spunk it up!!!! Otherwise he was good for singing a girl's song.

Kimberly L. did amazingly well. She has a very strong voice.

Carmen, ahh she was ok. Better than most of her performances.

Ruben...Barry White's long lost son. lol OMG there were a bunch of 205s in the audience. YIKES.

Rickey, loved the fro, for some reason he reminds me of Wayne Brady and would be a good all around entertainer, but not an American Idol.

Kimberely C. Ummm does she know more than 4 notes??? I was not crazy about her performance, but maybe it was more of the way the song was sung rather than her voice. Dunno.

Trenyce - she was pretty good, but I wasn't thrilled. Plus come on pick something other than a diva song.

The highlight of the evening...drum roll please...ok there were actually a couple.
1) Not only does Fox kick him off the show but they make him do a taped statement. LOVED it. What a schmuck. He certainly didn't say he WASN'T guilty. But he will go on because that's who he is. Where is the pukey smilie when you need it?
2) When Simon said that It's Raining Men is Seacrest's song and Seacrest said he was singing along and then goes "Shocked???" rofl. I don't know why but that made me laugh. He is such a goober. But I won't complain too much cuz this season is much better with out the other loser.

Kim C's time is sooo up. She blew last night. And Ruben --- my, my, my he did Mr. Barry White's song justice and that's a hard thing to do. When the first notes started, I started howling - he definitely "brought it" with that song.
Rickey blew for me as well - the falsetto was way off and I was a bit embarrassed for him. Oh, well - you live and learn. Disco was definitely not Clay's element - ya gotta shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake your groove thang when you're busting out a disco tune and he wasn't shaking diddly.
I'm so sick sick sick of Trenyce imitating Ms. Whitney Houston - please go back to your karaoke bar and leave our ears alone.
Carmen sounded better than she had before, but still too shaky and "off."
Poor Joshua was lost in Disco Hell. You can tell it's not his thing.
Lovely statement by Corey Clark. Soon to be seen on a Cops episode near you.
Final vote - Kim C. Buh-bye.

Hey who is this new person??!!??!! ;) I think we need to call the Tag Faries in.

I have to agree with you all. Josh, Ricky and Kim C. in the bottom three with Kim C. getting the boot. She finally convinced me last night how limited her range is.

Last night reaffirmed something I've known all along. I HATE DISCO. I was waiting to hear someone sing Last Dance or I WIll Survive. And ensemble songs like Earth, Wind & Fire or Kool & The Gang are hard to do solo and sound good. I would stick with a song from a solo artist like Donna Summer or George Benton.

What was up with Simon last night? two weeks ago he was shilling Clay as the "one to beat" and last night Ruben was going to "win it all". And man was he over the top with his criticism.

How will Fox fill the one episode that they've lost with Corey's removal? And for those of you who watched last year, what happens when they get down to four or less contestants? How do they fill the hour? More commercials?

They soon will start performing whole songs not the 1 minute and 30 second renditions they have been doing. Geez I can't remember back to last season. What else was there? Yeah commercials, also more "fun" things like what they were doing in the house that week. Ummm I can't remember anything else. Some one else know?

I think you pretty much summed it up. There were more group performances and then the rest was filler poo. I was wondering how they were going to compensate for the extra week that they now have due to Mr. Clark's unfortunate "incident."

First of all...I just want to say I came DAMN close on this prediction...the actual # was 4257...one number off if you played them in any order (check www.mainelottery.com for the 4/1 pick 4 numbers if you need proof...)

Anyway...enough about me...I watched AI last night (though I missed Corey's statement because I was cooking dinner...) but I have to say that based just on performance...it's time for Josh to join his Marine unit...he was really bad last night...so my vote is for Josh...just painful

(Though I secretly wish Tyerece (SP?) goes...I just hate Whitney Houston, and she reminds me of her)

Anyway...another observation...not that I think he needs that much help, but I think Fox is now actively pushing Clay...last night, when Simon said he was bad...notice the host called out the judges and made them explain themselves again...they only did this for Clay...also at the end in the Red Room...when they were all there...They had Clay do most of the talking for everyone...now it may be nothing...but it seems to me the producers were worried that Simon said it wasn't his best performance, and they didn't want to lose him...so they gave him an extra push...

Oh well...it's not that important anyway....at least AI ended on time for an all new "24" :)

(BTW...the Maine Pick 4 numbers for tonight will be 6319)

I think your not far off, Higgs. I think Fox is pushing for Clay and Ruben to be the two finalists. Nobody else has so many nicknames as the Velvet Teddy bear :)

Yeah - the good news about Corey's Buh-Bye is I won't have another glass break in my house...the way I see it, they saved us a week of torture, as he was going out next anyhow...

OH - I totally forgot:Inmate Corey Clark - on behalf of the WDWWDS - Buh-Bye now...sucks to be you, *Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you...*
Yeah - Ricky, Kim C and Josh in the bottom 3...I love Disco but once again - totally disappointed in song selection! (please keep in mind AI players that you only receive points for the 1 idol that you vote as *eliminated*...

...personally I am sick of Simon's *bad guy* act...its tired already. I mean as much as Clay did not do so well with the Disco thing - he was BY FAR the best up until that point...and as Sandy said - first he says Clay is the one to beat - then Ruben...he does it just to get people against him...it's becoming really annoying because his was the only opinion of the 3 that I respected, because no matter how bad they were - he would *tell them how it is*. He even said in a news conference "They think that I am mean - wait until they get out and meet the real critics of the music world..." Now he is just doing it to be *the bad guy* and for me...its become b-o-r-i-n-g...

Hummm...I know when it was down to 2 and 3 contestants - they sang more then one song (3 I think), they also had the *top 10* come back to do *group songs*, more bio's...honestly I don't recall thinking that the show had anymore commercials then last night's...

Ok - do I have Votes correct so far?

AP/Jas/Boss/Sandy - Kimberly C
Higgs/Madonna/Kim - Josh
OT - Corey psst BTW - OT PM'd me his choice of Corey Clark to be voted off before he left for Iraq on Monday...and I dont think that its right to not change his vote...what do you guys think? :D

Still waiting for Mlcar to confirm Kim C or Kim L (I think that she means C - but you never know...)

Yep Higgs - I agree, Fox knows who the *girls go nuts for*...I mean can you imagine how the ratings would drop if it had come down to Julia DeMato and Carmen?!?

Can you play those numbers for me Higgs? I am in Canada so I can not but I can send you the money via Paypal.

I am was very happy to see Corey go. Am I the only person who thought that 205 sucked last night. I said to my wife after the show that I was glad that I know what 205 is all about, if not I would have voted him off.

Oh great, my down load is done. I just got Josh's version of Celebration off of Kaza, what a rocking tune:rolleyes:

I believe OT has the right to change his vote since it was a future prediction and the person he picked got kicked off. What time does he have up until to change his vote? :D

Ah Jas - your no fun...:(

He has up until 8:00pm Toronto Time

Yeah I was not overly impressed with 205 or Clay last night - but as you said Boss, good thing that I knew what they were all about BEFORE last night's show...

Ok - you know what REALLY bothers me? How can you base a 2003 American Idol on flippin Motown and Disco?!? (as much as I LOVE both types of music...I would like to hear them do TODAYS music) IMHO you know what would make for a more *fair* show? Week to week they have to do different styles of TODAY'S popular music by TODAY'S popular artists...you know: Rap, Dance, New Country, R & B, Alternative...I mean last I heard "Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch" was not on Billboard's top 40

It has been a wide range of styles that are being showcased this time around - if I remember correctly it was very bland last season. I think they are just trying to make the kids show range and the ability to adapt - which is pretty valueable these days considering the fickle MTV crowd. The kids couldn't even figure out what Country Rock was last week, so this week's massacre of songs was somewhat of an improvement.
Either way, it's all amusing to me. I'll stand by my man, Ruuuuuuuuubennnn - despite his horrific fashion sense he can put on a show if he were just singing I'm a Little Teapot.

I have been called a party pooper a few times in my life. ;) Anyway, we'll see if he wants to change his vote, unless he is having too much "fun" in Iraq. If not then he gets to keep Corey.

OMG I am begging please no rap, dear Lord above, do not let them try and do rap on AI. I don't like it in the first place, but they would kill it, slice it, dice it, massacre it. But then again, seeing Clay rap would be interesting. No, no I go back to my first prayer, please don't let it happen.

Talk about a train wreck... I would have to watch with one ear covered!

madonna, I agree with everything you say, except for choosinf rap as a theme. Rap is not music and it takes a certain skill to perform that not everyone has. And nt being able to do rap, should not be a mark of how good a performer someone is.

Did someone say OT is in Iraq? Or is that an inside joke?

I also voted for Kim C. to go tonight.

It is an inside joke that is far too long to explain (we would probably get in trouble too, lol).

Rap is not music and it takes a certain skill to perform that not everyone has.

I couldn't have said that better myself! (I hope that my DH's best friend was around to read that...;) )

What's wrong Sandy - not an *M & M* fan?!? rotfl...neither am I - I can not STAND rap...skill: yes - music: NO..but I didn't want to offend anyone around here who likes it by not including it was all...
