Cast-- same as part 1

This was going to be the first time flying for my MIL. It was also our first time flying w/ a layover. We had always been lucky enough to have direct flights. Anyhow-- we were flying Jetblue Buffalo-JFK-MCO. When we got to JFK we were supposed to have a 60 min layover. Needless to say, they bumped the time of our flight up and we just unboarded one plane and they were calling our names overhead for a final boarding for our new plane. MIL wanted to stop to go to the bathroom. She didn't see any urgency in getting to the plane. DH made me go in and pull her out of line, we JUST made the flight.

Anyhow, the flight went uneventful. We land in MCO and I'm just about jumping out of my skin because we are back!!! Anyhow, we get off the plane and MIL takes about 10 steps and needs to rest because she's tired. Alittle background here--- MIL (49) had back surgery a few years ago. Not being mean, but she's been milking the surgery and workers comp for everything she can. In her head she's 100% disabled. To everyone else, she's disabled when it "works for her". So some of the stress and aggrevation comes from her "injury". In the last 5 years, since her surgery, she's done NOTHING but sleep or watch TV. The women now has no endurance or strength left either. She's just very lazy and always miserable about it.

Anyhow, we just sat through a 2+hr flight--- I don't want to stop. DS is getting very antsy, and DH is torn. He doesn't want to make me mad-- he doesn't want to make his mom made. So he tells me to go ahead and get the luggage-- he'll meet me at the Alamo counter. I know I gave a "look" here, but I was aggrevated that he was feeding into her hands. I swear she was smirking behind his back at me.

Alamo-- I was really scared. The line is always an hour long and I just was too anxious to get to the hotel!! Let the pixie dust begin. The line only had one other person in it-- and no high pressure insurance pitch like usual!!

Check in at the hotel was uneventful (Sheraton Safari)--- I posted a separate review of this on the Orlando Board. DS and I decided to swim while DH went to help his mom unpack, and to keep her moving. We only had an alittle over and hour until we had to leave for dinner at Chef Mickeys.

:sunny: :sunny: Looks like a little sunshine is in order..

I'm starting to get a picture here! She sounds like a woman I used to affectionately call, "Menopausal Maniac Mother"
