WDW Trippie day 13 - mum & dad say bye :(

Saturday 16th August
Had breakfast at Pop with mum & dad then had to say bye to them as they were flying home today
We headed over to Epcot & it already felt weird with no mum & dad!!
We headed for Soarin as i'd only managed to do it once, there was a 40 min wait we decided to wait, after 45 mins the line had moved about 2 foot!!!!
There was no info given out but we presumed it had broken & decided that if the line started to move there & then we would still have at least another
1/2 hr wait - so gave up & headed to mission space!
DD did this on our last trip (tame version) & was really scared, i was messing about & kept pressing all the buttons on the console as we were waiting for it to start & she shouts ''mum dont do that you might break it'' at the exact same time she said this the ride just powered down & DD freaked out
....so she chickened out at the last minute this time, so she waited outside for me & DH
we did the tame version again but it didnt seem half as good
Didnt help that the 2 girls sharing with us were as miserable as can be!!!

We then all rode test track again

We wandered over to WS to USA for funnel cake Then went to the pattisserie in France for a ham & cheese baguette which was very good
We exited at the international gateway & caught the boat to the Dolphin hotel as i wanted a peek around - i loved this hotel & its location, so thats now on my to do list We spent ages looking around & i bought a beautiful watch from the shop their
We walked to the Boardwalk & had dinner at the ESPN clup - DH loved it here & i was pretty impressed that the toilets had plasma TV's in each cubicle!!! so much so that i videoed it!!!!
We then caught the boat over to MGM's & rode TOT 3 times in a row

Headed back to POP to find a message on the phone from mum.....
i didnt know whether to laugh or cry!! her voice was squeaky & wobbly with emotion as she told us to have a great rest of our holiday & that they had left something at the front desk for us!!
We went over to the front desk & mum & dad had left us an envelope with $50 & another ''have a great trip'' message, we were happy with the prezzie but sooo sad they weren't with us now
We had an early night about 9.30pm & watched TV in bed & the approach of TS Fay!!!

Great day-sad about your Mum+Dad having to leave though.I always went to WDW with my Nan+Grandad and i cherished every moment of them holidays+they mean the world to me,i always look back at the pics .
Rotten you for scaring your Dd-no wonder she did'nt want to ride it-poor thing.x.
