WDW to Uni to MCO Connundrum

My upcoming trip will see us at WDW for 5 days then to Uni. I have the opportunity to book a walking-distance hotel at Uni. I hate to rent a car for a week and basically be storing it most of the time. I am considering taking DME to WDW then just cabbing it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Also, I did find a cheap rental car through EZ, but are they reputable? Thanks.

I would use ME From airport-disney,then a taxi or shuttle from disney-uni,then a meats shuttle from uni- airport..... You pay to park at uni hotels.....

^ Right the paying to park was a concern. The hotel isn't a Universal hotel, but is very close and charges $17 a day to park). I was reading about the Mears shuttles...apparently you just call 24 hours in advance to reserve? I think I'd be nervous if I didn't have something in place.
