I am just one person (who does not drive), so DCL transportation makes the most sense for me 100% - that is not my question.

I am wondering if the bussing from the resorts is prioritized from Deluxe down or if it really is random and there could be Value or Mod pick-ups on the bus with Deluxe pick-ups. Am I setting myself up for a later arrival if I stay at a Value or Mod rather than a Deluxe?

When we took the DCL bus from the Grand Floridian, the bus also picked up people from the Polynesian. They have several buses, not just one bus that goes everywhere. Each cruise is different, depending on the needs of the guests. If they have enough guests staying at one hotel, the bus will stop just at that hotel.

In theory, a bus stops at no more than three hotels.

We were at OKW, went to POFQ then went to AOA. We stayed at AOA in the parking lot, not at the curb for 1/2 hour. . Saw another DCL Cruise bus to load lots of families at the curb. Apparently we were the overflow bus. We never got to the pier until 2PM. So it doesn’t seem to matter where you stay. We were on the bus from 11:30AM until 2:O0PM. Had to eat lunch at the buffet since the MDR was closed. Hope that was an isolated incident since we take transfers often..

When we stayed at Port Orleans, we were the second pick up (don't know what the first was), then the bus went to what's now Old Key West (I think it was something else back then), then had to go back to Port Orleans to pick up the people who were not there at the correct time.

When we stayed at All Star Music, we were the first pickup, followed by Boardwalk, and one other.

I don't think there's any particular "order" by rank. Just what stops are necessary, and how many at each stop in order to fill the bus up the best before it heads out.
