can someone reccomend a resort with a family suite please? there will be 2 adults & 3 kids

There are basically two; Art of Animation and AllStar Music. Both have "kitchenettes".

They are quite different in that Art of Animation is quite a step higher than the AllStar resorts from the suites to the pools to the dining.

Art of Animation has a bedroom with a queen & bath, then a dining space where the table folds to full murphy bed and a living space with a full sofabed and another bath.

AllStar Music suites were made from two regular converted rooms so the layout is different. Bedroom with queen, living room with full sofabed and fold out chair and fold out ottoman. These are older rooms but then cost less.

You can also look at the Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach which are regular rooms that have a small fold down murphy bunk. Coronado Springs has a Jr Suite.

Then there is the Ft. Wilderness Cabins that offer a queen bed with a bunkbed next to it in bedroom and a queen sofabed in living room.

After that there are plenty of deluxe options.

I think you should look at these and see the price range for them and go from there.

There are also plenty of Disney Vacation Club villas that you can book directly with Disney as a cash stay. A one bedroom villa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani) sleeps 5 (but we did it 2 years ago with just 4 of us, and the living room was impossible to navigate with the sofa sleeper and sleeper chair opened, so I wouldn't do that again, but my oldest joined us last minute). It did have 2 bathrooms though. I love that it has a washer/dryer and full kitchen.

Some studios sleep 5, but that's just too many in one room for me.

There are 2 bedroom villas also, with full kitchens and washer/dryer. Of course they cost more, but would give lots of room.

Rentals may save money, on sites like redweek and David's Disney rentals. Often, there are general discounts, though (I have one booked in May, and with the discount being offered, it's costing the same as renting from David's, plus I get daily maid service paying cash, and have the flexibility if I need to cancel).

Don't forget the cabins at Fort Wilderness. Not for everyone, but if it's for you they are great. Great! Park at your front door, you have a "yard," it's like a private retreat.
