WDW Park tickets at FastPass+

It has been many years since I have gone. The last time we were there it was the paper FastPass system.

We have decided to take a last minute trip over Thanksgiving. I am very worried I won't be able to get any FastPass+ options.

We are going to stay on property and I still have to buy tickets. From what I have read, I have to link my tickets to my account before I can attempt to log in to see what is available.

If I buy from Undercover Tourist, it will take a week to get my tickets. Would I have to wait until I get them to get log in to the FastPass+ system?

The other option would be to get my park tickets with my reservation. It will cost me about $55 more for my family, but would I be able to log in immediately to reserve any FastPass+ , if any are even available?

If you buy tickets from any reseller like UT, you can't link your tickets until they are delivered (you need the ticket # to do so). And you can't make FP+ reservations until the tickets are linked.

If you buy your tickets as part of your reservation (a vacation package) the tickets should automatically show up on your MDE account.

I ended up just paying the few extra bucks to purchase the park tickets with my hotel reservation. I was able to get all of my fastpass+ reservations made and all is good!
