We will arrive WDW on a Saturday afternoon and planned to take a monorail ride to get a bird's eye view of the entire WDW.

We are staying at CBR. Can someone advise how we to go about taking the ride? Where will the monorail pass through? Can we pop into those resorts which have the monorail stops?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to take the bus from the CBR to the Magic Kingdom. Get on the resort monorail loop. You can get off at each of the resorts along the way. I would suggest taking the resort loop, stopping at each resort, and then take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center. You can then transfer to another monorail to Epcot. The ride to Epcot is great--it's really long, and you get to go through the park and around Spaceship Earth. You can get a bus back to the CBR from Epcot.

The places TLinden mentioned are the only places the monorail goes. Unfortunately, it only connects to three resorts and two of the parks. It doesn't go to the Disney Studios or to Animal Kingdom.

Hi, thanks for the idea. So we can hop on the resort monorail at MK and the monorail will take us to TTC, which we can then transfer onto another monorail to Ecopt. Is that correct?
BTW, how do we tell if it is a resort or park monrail? I

Also, any idea how long will it take if we are doing it in the late afternoon?

Thanks for the advice.

At MK and TTC the platforms are well marked. I don't recall exactly what they say but it is very easy to tell which platform is for the resort monorail and which is the express monorail. Also, the resort monorail runs clockwise and the express runs counter-clockwise. At the resorts, the platform is only for the resort monorail (obviously).

I'd estimate the resort loop takes about 20-30 minutes to make the full circle, assuming you don't get off at any resorts. The express loop takes less than 10 minutes. I think the Epcot monorail takes less than 10 minutes. This does not include time you spend waiting to get on the monorail.

You should also ask the station CM if you could ride in the front seat. You might have to wait but it is worth it.:smooth:
