WDW Main Street Gallery Re-Opens

The Main Street Gallery which had closed earlier in the year has now reopened. It opened the 3rd October 2003 and will be open daily from 12pm till park close.

That is excellent news! I always loved the Gallery and was sad on my last trip down in September to look over into that corner and see the closed space. It will be nice to visit again in November and find it reopened! I will be strolling through the shop once again!

I too am so happy it has reopened. I always find something special there and I find the people that work there are so helpful.

It was sad to see it closed - I look forward to seeing it in just 14 days - yeah.

Personally I like seeing a Gallery store represented in all four parks and other major property areas (ex. Downtown Disney). With Gallery stores in the parks they could have general merchandise plus have a section dedicated for park specific items only.

It is my understanding that this will remain open. I have heard that it's quite popular/successful.

The AK gallery "store" is inside one of the stores -- not standalone. The name of it is escaping me at the moment -- it is the big store in the middle of the park.

They put the gallery items in the room most distant from the park entrance (more towards the tree).

(Can you tell I don't my North from South ???).

I know that wasn't very informative. Sorry!

Disney "Gallery" merchandise is sold at Disney Outfitters in the Animal Kingdom - that's the store across from Island Mercantile - and the pin cart. I did some damage to my credit card there last spring.
