WDW Commericals Make Me Cry AnnonyMouse:

My DH and I were crying AT WDW during our last trip in October. We were sitting in our room at SSR and that commercial with the father and his pregnant adult daughter are remembering their trips to WDW when she was a little girl came on.
My DH and I were already emotional because it was our first trip to WDW without our DD (age 20) then I suddenly felt my throat swell and my eyes water and I clenched my fist up in the air and said in a barely audible, high pitched shaky voice "You SOBs!" And DH and I continued to weep for about 5 minutes. That commercial gets me every time!

I can totally relate to everything that has been said. I even get choked up when I am fast forwarding a DVR'd show, and I fly past a WDW commercial!

I think that's why I stay away from the board sometimes....it makes me miss it too much! LOL

It's not just the Disney ones that get me. It's the Orlando ones that show both Disney and Universal that get to me too. Anytime my DH sees me do it, he tells me that I need to seek professional help. I usually throw something aimed at his head and inform him that I am seeking professional help, it's call the disboards.

Sound like me. I'm glad I'm not the only one that mutters things like that at tose commercials.

OH, me too, me too! Can I join? I feel like such a sap, because I too, get teary eyed at the Disney commericals, and must watch anything with the Castle in it, even movie previews. My techie sister sent me Wishes as a ringtone for my cell phone, as a practical joke because I cry when I hear Wishes. She wanted to know if I would cry each time my phone rings. I'm too excited to sleep the night before each trip. Dh and I are celebrating our anniversary there this year, and I can hardly stand the wait. Just got the planning DVD in the mail...and now from this thread, I understand that will make me cry, too??

I am disney addict, first part is admission! I too LOVE the commercials and tear up everytime I see one. Seeing the castle at the start of every Disney movie in the theater does it too. My husband laughed at me this past Christmas while watching the "Disney Christmas parade" cause I had tissue in hand during the commercial breaks! My family thinks I am crazy but why is it they always have as much fun as I do when we return to Disney, huh?? hmm... think my converting is working. Hee -hee
