My cousin and I are going to WDW, Epcot and Hollywood Studios early 2020. We are using my aunt's passes she has because she works there. I think what she has is called the Silver Pass. She has worked there 20 years.

I know that she will need to check us in at the main gate when we initially get there and then we can park hop or whatever.

However, since we plan to be at the parks for three days, does anyone know if she will need to check us in each and every morning on all three days or does she just check us in the one time when we first enter Disney and then we're set for the rest of our trip?

Thanks!

Every day.

Also, these passes are subject to Blockout dates. These are published on a Public link: https://blockoutdates.disney.com/en/home Hollywood Studios could potentially still have blockouts for bringing in guests. So check in advance.

You can use Fastpass but your Aunt will need to do it, because the tickets will only show up on her MDE account as Guest Passes. There is no way to put them on another person's MDE, even temporarily. Which can lead to a problem if she's not there, you won't be able to use the app to make 4th, 5th, etc. Other restrictions are she can only make FPs 7 days in advance. If you are staying on property, she can do it sooner. But it gets a little complicated.

Thanks! I had read about Hollywood Studios. We plan to go in January and I don't see those dates yet. I will check back. She will be with us when we are at Epcot and for part of Magic Kingdom. So that should help with the fastpass situation a bit.

They are slowly lifting the block outs, so even if it is initially blocked out when the calendar is released, it might not be when you go. I would still make HS plans, but have a plan B just in case.

It will depend when Rise of the Resistance actually opens. If the rumors regarding a potential delay are accurate, if it opens during your trip or shortly before, in which case the blockouts will probably still be in effect. If it opens on time, in December, Disney may have a good read on what attendance is doing and start lifting them (at least during the week, maybe). If there is a really long delay, and it hasn't opened yet, you will probably be good to go.
