Hi, I'm pretty sure I asked this question a few years ago but where would people suggest staying that's convenient for both WDW and Universal?
I'll be travelling with my daughter, son in law and, by then, 8 month old grand daughter.
We're spending 5 nights at Port Orleans, taking advantage of the free DDP, but then want to move onto a 2 or 3 bed apartment or villa.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
We've stayed at Vista Cay before and Orange Lake.
Either of those would be lovely but I quite like to try new places.....😘
We'll be visiting both WDW and Universal and, maybe, joining friends to travel to the beach for a day.
Thanks for any input.

Personally I've stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld a few times as that's about equidistant from both Disney and Universal (assuming you're hiring a car) and have really enjoyed our stays there. We're normally in a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen but there are two and three bed apartments available as well. Much like DVC, they do reserve a certain percentage of rooms for cash buyers and while they will offer you a timeshare tour at check-in, you can just decline that and then they won't bother you for the rest of your stay.
