WCC or Kona Cafe?

Which would you choose, and why?

I would pick Kona. It was hands down the BEST meal we had on our last trip. The filet there is fantastic!

Kona! We have eaten there our last 3 trips and have an ADR for our upcoming August trip. The food is excellent, the service great and I love walking around the Polynesian after our meal. We really enjoyed the desserts too!

WCC has mediocre food and a loud obnoxious atmosphere. Kona has very creative food, wonderful desserts, and professional service in a relaxed atmosphere. Kona gets my vote, as I think you can tell.

Another vote for Konas. If you check on all ears you will notice that WCC menu has changed and alot of the good stuff is no more (no sausage on the skillet, no nachos, no pork chops, etc).

The only reason to go to WCC would be if you have kids who tend to be rowdy. The atmosphere would be great for them. If it is just a matter of the food, Kona wins hands down.

If you're going for the food I'd say Kona-

the food at Whispering Canyon is really only so so in my opinion- although it is a fun theme restaurant!

Kona, hands down. This is not a contest at all! Kona has WONDERFUL food, but my family is not thrilled with the atmosphere. Just don't go in with the expectations of a "wow" atmosphere & you'll be fine. It has some of the BEST food on property by far. We've tried WCC twice & are not fans. We won't be back. Enjoy Kona!! The sticky wings appetizer is out of this world!

Which would you choose, and why?

We have been to both. While I enjoyed our visit to Kona Cafe, I think WCC is a place that everyone should experience at least once. Food was good at both, service excellent at both-just a completely different atmosphere! In my opinion, they are very different places and it all depends on what you are looking for!
