Much better after a 3 hour nap! :thumbsup2

I was trying to decide if I would feel guilty going to a twilight movie...it's like I shouldn't be allowed to leave the house till 5 or 5:30...after work hours! :sad2:

Don't know, maybe Nights in Rodanthe.

I never saw Ironman or the latest Batman movie either. :confused3

Just remembered I want to be home for tv tonight. NBC has a half hour Sat Night Live political special on (I think right before ER) that will probably be pretty hysterical!

.

I plan to watch Grey's & ER tonight - just relax at home.

Signing off in the hopes that I don't get a phone call within the next 5 minutes.

I'll probably check in later.......if not, see you all in the am :goodvibes

HOLLY How did the parent/teacher conference go? Did Dad show up?

Regarding 2010.....if you can't decide....if you can't afford.....just remember.....

NEW SHIP 2011

Just might be worth saving up for! :thumbsup2

I know, I know!!! Hoping we'll be able to afford being on the new ship after the EB TA!

HOLLY How did the parent/teacher conference go? Did Dad show up?
Just got home. Work, then conference, then refilled my prescription, then returned my movie and rented another, then returned a Halloween decoration that was too complicated for me to hook up, then a quick stop at another store, THEN scout meeting, then loaded up my car with cases of popcorn to deliver this weekend, THEN drivethru at KFC for supper. Phew! Busy day!

Yes, he always shows up for conferences. And stepmom has decided to quit pouting and re-join the world of the living and start participating again (she showed up too). :rotfl2: We knew the things Tyler struggles with, still trying to recognize sight words and he can only count to 15, can only recognize numbers through 9. But he's come a long way since Kindergarten and we'll all keep working with him. He's supposed to be able to count to 110 now and also count to 100 by 10s and by 2s and by 5s. So he has a long way to go. But with special ed every day for an hour, and us working with him at home at both houses, he'll keep improving, I have no doubt.

Some GOOD news: All this week, the teacher told us that based on what the subs all said, he's had NO problems with being overly aggressive or has been able to be re-directed. She said he's become weepy now when he gets frustrated or angry, and she needs to take some one on one time to give him a hug and some talking too and she's able to console him. I very rarely see him cry, so this is new, but we all agreed that we're FINE with this new reaction because it seems to have taken the place of the aggression/violence he used to have when frustrated or angry. MUCH more preferable! :thumbsup2 Could be related to the med switch because the timing is right.

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Off to eat my supper and watch the movie I rented (Made of Honor) and RELAX finally! :goodvibes

I'm back in the world of the hooked up (internet)!!!:surfweb: :worship: :yay: I have been able to read a little, but certainly not keep up. Hope all are well.

We have been very busy being retired! :lmao: :rotfl: Actually, busy selling, buying and moving to our new home. We are pretty well settled in. It is COLD here right now. Getting down in the low 20's at night. BBBRRRRR. We think we will not be able to head out in the MH until early Nov. Hopefully the we will at least find a window of opportunity to get over the passes around that time.

I sent a request for a quote to DU for the westbound TA. Hopefully we will be able to afford the airfare. That will be the deal maker or breaker. PJ  offered some options that might be reasonable. :thumbsup2

Girl, you missed all of yesterday's conversations! Yes, I already submitted my request form to my TA to be waitlisted for this one. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 I am missing way too many conversations these days.

I had tickets for a day paid for and still never made it to the Rainforest Room. Oh well, next time. We were just crazy busy with Navigator and Mini Navigator activities. I want to relax more on the next cruise. I don't want to be overactive like this one was.

Relaxing does sound good. Another thing I didn't do on our cruise was go to see any of the movies. I'll have lots of time to fit some in if I get to do the TA.

Wow, how nice for you to be with all the family on Sunday having Turkey and then sleeping in with a day off on Monday. That's perfect.

Do you have what we call a Black Friday......which is the day after Turkey day when all the stores have huge sales in an attempt to start Christmas shopping.....in your case it would be Black Monday.

No. No Black Monday (we actually have Thanksgiving Monday and most of the stores are closed, although lots of families celebrate on the Sunday). No Black Tuesday either!

Me, Lisa (disneylover) and Michelle are all on the maybe list. Monica wants Baltic too rich for my blood :snooty:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 This is for the EB right? That is what I have decided to try for.

I got on the scale this morning and found out that I lost 8 lbs. since returning from vacation a week ago. I lost the 4 lbs. that I gained on vaca plus another 4. YEAH!!! BistroMD does work when you stick to it. It's worth the expense.:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Way to go Deb!

Good Morning everyone! Deb invited me over so I thought I'd pop by and say 'hi' to you all pirate:

Just looked at your beautful photo's of your neighbourhood Deb, and I am truly 'gobsmacked' as they say here in the South of England! :worship: What a gorgeous place you live in! Those views would really inspire me in my painting I think.

Hope everyone is well, it's good to catch uo a bit with some familiar faces!:grouphug:

Hi Mandy, good to see you here  I am looking forward to meeting you on the Tortola cruise :thumbsup2

::yes:: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Morning all. I start car pooling today, so I have to be ready to go in about 20 minutes. (just need to throw on my glad rags) I'll be drivng on Tuesdays and Sue will drive on Thursdays. If we like how it works, we'll add in Monday and Wednesday too. I hesitate to do 4 days because I occasionally need to do a bit of overtime...especially when we have the time change in November (as I'll be an hour ahead of everyone I work with in LA). We'll see how it goes. Even not driving one day a week saves a bit.

:grouphug: For everyone who needs them today!

The scale said down 6.5 this morning :woohoo: amazing what eating 'real' food will do :lmao:

catch you all at lunch break...

Way to go Jackie!

Hi Angie  Glad you're keeping busy and enjoying retirement :thumbsup2

Kathe

I didn't realize he was overseas - makes it alot more stressful for him I'm sure.

Yup... and it kills me cause I do miss him and email is one thing... hearing his voice is completely another... ;)

Angie!!!! Welcome back!!! We do miss you and Dennis!!! So where have you settled? I'm sure you told us once, but my brain is frozen...

How is PJ doing? Tell her to stop by and say hello!

HI Angie! Great to see you here again! Glad you're all settled in your new home. Hopefully we'll see more you you. Hi to Dr. Hug too!

Thanks for the warning - I've been wanting to see that one.
It didn't get good until the last 1/2 hour. Others may have liked it just fine, it was just too predictable to enjoy much. Sorry to be a party pooper.
