Exactly and ethan will be starting 6th grade. You can't pull him out then. But near the end of 5th grade no biggie!

You can easily walk from the terminal into town if you didn't want to go on an excursion. I guess one excursion would be up to the toboggan run in Monte

There is a cable car that goes up, and beautiful botanical or tropical gardens to look around if you like that kind of thing. Madeira is famous for being 'floral' and has some beautiful flowers.

It can be misty(clouds) up there though.

I know how you feeling as I lost my dear mum long times ago and first year I find it harder.

She died around December and it was harder but now I amhappy to have family together and love Xmas. I always remember her at Xmas or her birthday.

Best way think happy memory and buy flowers that what I always do for her birthday and Xmas times.

I was looking for 2010

My husband want Baltic Cruise on 18th July 2010 then we change to 6th July 2010 because he want see Finland.

But it cost pricey and we might drop down from Balcony to Cat 2?

I will email DU to get the right prices for us as our son will be 13 years.

No flight for us to Dover.

Still too expensive.

There is an airport in Hilton Head - next closest would be Savannah (GA), then Charleston (SC).

Thanks, I checked them all out. I think we'll end up driving again. I have another convertible reserved for $250, even with a hotel room on the way down and back it's still less than the $700 it's going to cost us to fly and then we still need to rent a car too. It's a good thing John likes to drive and at least we'll have less luggage for only 3 days.

Do you want me to call you in the morning??? I would be happy to. I used to have friends call me every morning to get up for work when I was single. It was the only thing that would wake me up.

Michelle, the area is fantastic, and I can see why you love the lake so much. I believe we went into the Adirondacks on our way back from Niagara Falls to boston - could that have been right? We called in on the old winter Olympic place which I ca't remember the name of. It was around this time so looked spectacular, though not quite as good as your pics.

Gaylean - brooke sure has grown this last year. We are hoping opur grandson has a growth spurt so he can ride some big rides next May. Thinking of getting a stretching machine.

Well I didn't think you looked pregnant at all. I have always looked pregnant - even now at 60!!!

Marilyn.. you did indeed go through the Adirondacks... You went to Lake Placid which is the ONLY place to ever host the Winter Olympics TWICE!!! 1932 and 1980!!!

I'm about an hour and 1/2 south of there... beautiful country....

So... does this mean since you've already been to my part of the world that you wouldn't come to visit again?

Michelle - nice photos. That is such a beautiful part of the country. I'd love taking drives up there.

Illinois is not very interesting. No hills. Flat as far as the eye can see. We never take drives in the country, because there really isn't anything worth seeing.

Though I feel a trip to the botanical gardens or the arboretum coming on.

You will be fine and it will be over in a day... get some soft stuff to eat for tomorrow and keep ice around and it will help. Take what they give you and rest... and wear your Tigger slippers...
