I've been looking at one way air fares to London**....just in case there is a transatlantic in my future...one way is so expensive might as well go round trip and do a Baltic or whatever else will be going on.:confused3

......patiently waiting till October 7........

**Aer Lingus has the least expensive one way fares, but aren't they more likely to be blown up.......JOKING......

.

I swear I found one for 500.00 but I can't find it now. I'm not sure what I was looking at. I looked for round trip and it was 1000.00  That's 4000.00 for us. Anyone want to share a room? I'll leave the family at home ;)

Hey Deb. I placed my order and it will arrive next Friday (9/19--National Talk Like A Pirate Day). :woohoo:

So when you do the 5 day, do the just leave off day 6 and 7 of the published menu?

Hi Gayleen, Hi Holly

.

YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! That's great news Jackie! Good for you! I'm so glad you only have to wait until next week to get it. That worked out like you said and that's great.

Sometimes I get 5 day menus and most times I get the 7 day menus so I can read about what I'm missing. It's okay coz those are my "cheat" days.

I think you're really going to like it once you get used to it. Congratulations for taking that step in the right direction.

I'm so proud of all of us here that are really trying to make it work. Even Marilyn, although she eats many sweets, will work out with the Wii. We're all doing good. Nan, you have us all beat. Consider cheating on weekends then getting strict again on Monday. When you cheat, don't go bingeing.....just have a little of one thing that you really want.

Hi Holly and Gaylean too!

PS Jackie, I'm eating sugar free blueberry cheesecake and it's soooooooooooo good. It's only 70 calories.

goof around on the internet, then head home and see where the car takes me for dinner. :confused3 Haven't had pizza in a while.

Got lots of projects for the weekend....we'll see what gets done :lmao:

.

I figure it's time to vacuum because I had something stuck to my feet last time I walked across the carpet :lmao: Pizza sounds good. I think we are having Mexican.

On the Aer Lingus site the CURRENTLY had a Los Angeles/Dublin/Heathrow for $500 one way, but it looks like they won't be offering that next year. Air New Zealand has a one way LA to London $860.

Of course, I'd love the Phoenix NON STOP to London on BritishAir, but that's $1350 ONE WAY :scared1: ...the round trip is only a smidge more than that.

Must add picking up a lottery ticket to tonight's events (Power Ball over 100 million...that would do the trick, eh)

You meant a little rum, that's what she wants to hear ;)

I don't get why we go to FL and stop twice but a flight to London is non-stop :confused3 All the flights I found were non-stop.

The important thing is to put the past in the past.

A very wise WW leader (it might have been me) once said, every minute we get a brand new minute.

I better not tell that WW leader that I had McD's for lunch huh :lmao: :lmao:
I think I may have to take weekends off. It was a very stressful week trying to eat perfectly. It just isn't how I run my normal daily life. Maybe it will get easier. Or maybe I'll win the lotto and cruise my way thin :rotfl:

Michelle, I just saw Clear Lake on the TV news......the water was up to the news broadcaster's knees and Ike still isn't going to hit for another 6 hours. It's so big, it's scary. They announced that the people who didn't evacuate should write their social security numbers on their arms. Can you imagine? If they told me that, I would NOT be staying!!!
Oh my gosh! I've never heard of that. That would sure scare me away too. Maybe that's what they're trying to do though.

What a great way to look at things. Sort of like me telling Tyler every morning, "Today is a brand new day to try to have a good day". :thumbsup2 I guess that applies in many situations. :goodvibes

I know you are not going to believe this but are those sections of WDW, I've never been there?

Oh so sorry......Yes, World Showcase is the back section of Epcot. It's literally a circle around a lake. There are many representations from around the world. i.e., I can go to France or London and have dinner there or just drink champagne.

The front end of Epcot has rides and amusements......especially talkin crush......he's my favorite! And John loves figment.....of your imagination......the purple dragon!

I know not everyone can do this BUT I really watched it during the week and then I would do whatever I wanted on Friday and Saturday and I would still lose 3 pounds a week. Jon tried it and he would gain on the weekend and lose it during the week :confused3

That sounds so cool. Maybe I should do that next time we are there instead of going on water slides.

That is funny because Ethan told Brooke that the Tink in the fireworks at DL was a robot. Brooke asked me and I told her that it was a real person. They fought back and forth and I told him it was a real person. He never believed me but I didn't lie.
:rotfl2: Too funny! I sure can't picture Tink as a robot! :lmao:

Hi Gaylean, I'm good! Going to WDW in two weeks and I'm getting excited. We extended our stay so now we'll be there for almost a week. We're meeting Monica and Lisa and Darrell and doing the Epcot Food and Wine Fest.

Tonight I'm chillin' watching the storm news and dising. How about you? I wish I had some champagne to drink, but I don't. I'm drinking water!
I'm drinking BEER!

We'll take plenty of pictures and post them here so you can see.

This trip we're going to try to do Typhoon Lagoon.....never been there and we want to try it out.
