I heard the same thing....and i'm thinking westbound too. Time change should be working to OUR advantage! Think of all those late nights at rocking bar d!

The kid's clubs still close. Have you guys heard if they are still doing that over night thing? I know it was a trial thing on our cruise and they didn't do it on my friend's cruise but maybe it was just for the longer cruises.

Well, Brent said on the last night that it was such a success, they planned on continuing it, even on the 7 night cruises. :thumbsup2

It needs to hurry up and be 5:00 so I can leave! I have to mow, and today would be a good day to do that since it's a bit chilly outside. Then I can go to bed. :thumbsup2

Oh drat, it's started raining and a storm is on its way. Looks like I can't mow. I'm so bummed. ;) :rotfl2:

:yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Hello Everybody

Poor Tyler got horribly sunburned yesterday. The field trip with the school was to a water park from 9am to 5:30pm. I sent sunscreen with him (the kind Jan let me try on the cruise that doesn't cause him to break out - NoAd). I stressed the necessity for him to have it and also to have it reapplied frequently because he's so fair. Tyler says a teacher put some on him before they left the school in the morning and THAT'S IT. I normally don't burn, but even I would get burned after that many hours in a pool in the sun! I learned all this because his dad e-mailed me this morning telling me how furious he is with the school and stepmom really lit into the teachers this morning when she dropped Tyler off. She left Solarcaine (or somthing similar for sunburns) with the teacher and told them to put it on whenever he says it hurts. He didn't sleep most of the night because it was so sore, and that was with having cold & wet towels on to cool him. :sad2: Poor kid.

Oh poor Tyler :sad2:

We always went to the Promenade Lounge and got a drink before we went to dinner and I always felt bad about it. After a few days I realized that we were still ordering a lot more drinks than most so I stopped feeling bad. I didn't bring any wine on the ship so I didn't bring it from my room but how did they know that I got it from the Promenade lounge and not from my room?

Don't feel bad and you was a great on the Cruise :thumbsup2

Hi Deborah! You still have rain? Good grief, when will it stop?! Our rain actually only lasted 5 minutes and then the sun came back out. So I could mow, but now I'm fixing supper, so it will have to wait until tomorrow because after I eat I'm going to bed!

Goodnight Deborah!

Wow, there must be some crazy weather stuff going on. When I looked at the temp at 6pm it was 80 degrees. About 15 min ago it was 69. Now it's 66! Might need to shut windows if it drops any more. :goodvibes

crap I wish I knew this before I placed that non-refundable deposit :rolleyes1

Nan, I nearly fell over laughing. Did I ever tell you how much I love you?

(OK, along with a bunch of other people too)

Now I know what you expect for the wedding :lmao: :lmao:

That's what I told him ... of course it goes without saying that we have expressly said, no gifts.

Speaking of which .... considering I'm turning 52 next week, should I give up on the dream that my real parents are going to drive up in the Silver Cloud Rolls and give me my birthright?

As an adolescent, I used to tell my parents that I knew they were not my real parents ... my real parents were rich and left me with simple and humble people to build character, and I would reward them when they came to claim me and I received my birthright.

It's a wonder I made it through my adolescence alive.

Be careful of what you wish for.

Woody

Not having seen this, I just wrote the exact same words on the Tortola thread. Of course it was about something completely different.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You just crack me up!

Well, I just learned that I truly don't want a cat. Tyler has 2 cats at his dad's, just loves cats, and has been wanting one here too. My mom always had cats when I was growing up, so I like having them around too. I'd been considering the idea very seroiusly lately. That has all changed. Our neighbors across the street are on vacation for 10 days and they asked Tyler if he'd like the job of bringing in their mail, watering the plants outside and inside, checking on and feeding the cat, and I got stuck with the litter box duties just because I didn't want him messing with it. So far it hasn't been too awful, I gag when scooping out the deposits made by Junior, but have been able to tolerate it. Until today. They told me I'd need to change the litter once while they were gone, so I figured today would be a good day because they'll be home in 3 days. OH MY GOSH, I almost puked. That's the most disgusting job and I never want to do that again! I kept having to run out of the room every 30 seconds to get a fresh breath. GROSS!

Where is everybody?

Well, goodnight all. I can't keep my eyes open any longer. :cloud9:

Imagine how I felt when my parents use to tell me that I should find new parents because they were going to find new kids.

Oh, My! When Patrick gets mad at me, and tells me he wants to "Do everything my own way!" I ALWAYS tell him to put an ad in the paper for a new mom! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

When he wants to go somewhere, and Chuck and I don't, then we tell him "Just take the van and go!", and he says "I don't have a driver's license!":rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's all in fun

Says who???

People did it every night and nobody said anything as far as I knew... Most did it to avoid the corking fee... how were they to know you didn't just get a drink before waiting to enter and brought it with them. It's done in restaurants all the time...

Actually, they were mostly talking about people briinging in one glass (instead of a whole bottle) to avoid the corkage fee. I see nothing wrong with that....they're only having ONE glass NOT the whole bottle at dinner. Now if they were having the kids each carry in a glass, or if everyone had one in each hand....that's pushing it! :lmao:

.

Hi everyone!

Just checking in to say hello since I had my laptop.

Really have no time to catch up, and regret that I can't be here very often.

My Browns are right now beating the Jets + Favre.

Alex took the tickets and went to the game with a friend who is home. Preseason so I am OK with that.
