Howdy Ken! How is everything up there in Canada?
Hey Ian, that was Shannon posting there!!!
Howdy Ken! How is everything up there in Canada?
It is going to rain however!![]()
I read in the newspaper on the way to work this morning that the other night when we had the bad thunder storms and the tornado warnings here in the city of Chicago, that there were 9.361 lightening strikes in the Chicago area.
Almost exactly what I tried to explain to Tyler on Monday.Holly - its great that things are going well with Tyler. This may be a weird perspective, but its probably good that he hasn't morphed into a perfect child. The meds are helping him learn to handle things, but like all kids (and adults) it takes time to learn.
Thanks Deborah, I'll give it a try! That strange as it is heavy raining all this morningkids don't want to go out today.

About Nero - it is very straighforward much better than photobucket or magix which I bought the packaged last year and I disliked it.
I prefer Nero and you can up load it first and see if you like it then buy it online.
I think Nero got new one now as my friend bought it and much better than my one but I don't mind as I enjoyed used it.

Yes, I do at least want to go for the interview just to see what they have to offer. Doesn't hurt to see what's out there. And who knows? They might be just as flexible as my current employer. And it sure would be nice to have medical insurance and paid holidays and vacation pay and all of the other nice things most employers offer (except mine). I'm going to call to set up the interview soon.Holly, apart from being bored where you are some of the time, they do seem to look after you and that is important at the moment. Perhaps going for the interview and finding our how the land lies would be good then at least you would know.

I thought the same thing and wondered why he thought 9 lightning strikes was a lot!I just had a DUH moment. I read that and I was thinking how to they get a part lightning strike and why out to the first 3 decimals? Then I realized it was 9thousand+361 not 9. Time to fully wake up and get to work.
Good morning everybody!
My interview is today at 3:20!!!! I had a long talk with the womam who scheduled it. She basically asked me all the interview questions over the phone. They have great insurance, from the sounds of it. I asked around the rumor mill of lawyers in Lansing, and I had only one person say something negative about one of the lawyers at the firm, but everybody else told me she's on her way out. And I do remember the woman I spoke with mentioning one lawyer moving to Florida soon. One person told me they're a great bunch to work for and they recently renovated their offices and they're supposedly beautiful now. I was told they're a very successful firm and that there's no shortage of money there and to ask for lots more than I'm making now.![]()
You know I'll keep you updated!Looks promising Holly.![]()
I have caught up to Aug 3 on our thread. No posts of photos from Planky's site and as I found these there, posted Sept 30 or 31 I decided to copy them over here for everyone to see. (Planky: I told you I was a fan--this will get more pals to your site-- http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1810009 ) Must say, some of your cousins might need a trip to the Attitude Adjustment Center themselves. They seem to be an angry, vindictive bunch.
Laptop is back from its Attitude Adjustment Center. So far, so good. It is on a test run. I have yet to download the photos of the MULE seen in St. Louis however. I hope to get to that later today.

I hope that you will indeed continue to enjoy Planky's adventures which will update this weekend when I get my furry little butt (wait... that's Planky's) home to edit his latest...![]()
