I didn't tell you that we convinced her to make the roast She is making me order it because she is scared She'll see it is easier than turkey and then we'll never have turkey again

Hey V..Happy Holidays to you guys as well. I envy you for having tomorrow off. I should be off this whole week, but with changes to our company vacation policy, here I am at work. And working all day tomorrow. Our holiday dinner is tomorrow night at DIL's house. Your party of 20 sounds like a great time. There is only 7 at ours.

Well we could have cooked the whole thing with the bones on, but it would have taken 5 hours to cook. And since we both have to work, that was just too much.

I knew I could count on you to help cook and eat the ribs, as you know bubba doesn't like beef ribs so maybe next month we can get together for some ribs and drinks. I still have the wine I've been saving for us to share too.

Gaylean, we got your card yesterday and when I read to Tyler who it's from, he said, "Oh, I remember Brooke, she has long brown hair". Then he asked me why you didn't have a picture on the card like lots of other people did. I told him you ran out of time because you couldn't decide which one you liked best!

Actually, thank you all for the cards too. This is the first year we've received cards, aside from my insurance broker and financial advisor.

We've really gotten a kick out of the cards and photos.

It felt amazingly warm when I was waiting for the bus, even though it was only 15F.

Amazing how warm that can feel after -3F.

Right now it is snowing again. Sukie volunteered to shovel as I was leaving for work.

We have lived in this house for 17 years and he has only shoveled 3 times in all those years.

I'm not sure why he's being nice to me. There must be something afoot.

He's in collusion with T&T... watch out for the three of them... they're gonna want to watch a marathon of Federal Holiday movies...

They are going to eat fried egg and chips(as in French Fries) for 'Christmas dinner'!!!

It is a common dish over here, and i love it, but don't have it very much at all these days. We had quite a conversation if I remember rightly.

Well, all the Woolworths are closing in January!!! It will be so sad. I believe in the 20,000's of workers are being made redundant.
