For me it's also a sad night. My Aunt Lue passed away this morning. She had be on declined for the last week, so it was known this was coming, but nonetheless sad. My cousin, Laura is who I'm most concerned about tonight. Her father, my father's brother passed about 15 years ago, so this makes her alone now. She has a brother but they don't get along at all. Laura is the Grandmother to the twins, one of which passed last summer, you may remember. If you can spare an extra prayer for my cousin and her grief that would be great.
I'm so sorry Nan.

...All the little kids in our neighborhood love to come over and have their picture taken with them in my yard. I feel like the grandma of the neighborhood. (That's the only way I will get grandchildren, I will have to rent them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Wanna rent Tyler? :rotfl2:

Deb, this is another day without a cigarette!!!:thumbsup2

Nan, sorry to hear about your Aunt. Condolences,

I am so lucky, you have no idea!!

What are you doing up??

;)

She's at SSR :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Alarm didn't go off this morning so a little later up than i wanted. Still managed to get to MK FOR 7.45 and CP for a great breakfast with Pooh and friends. Enjoyed the morning in the park.

Going for a walk round SSR, then will probably pop to Epcot for the evening and Illuminations.

Marilyn, I'm glad you and John are having a good time!

I've just sent a request for the week of June 8 off from work to still try and take Tyler to WDW that week! :goodvibes So I'm hoping we can get together with you and John before you head home that week, didn't you say you'll be there until June 10?

thanks for the hugs and kind words regarding my aunt. it's a numb feeling when you loose someone that is at the end of a long illness road. She had been bedridden for the last 5 years. :sad2: I'm feeling bad for my cousin as she is very lonely for family and we are 5+ hours away by car. I'm trying to figure out if I can get up there for the burial. She isn't having a service just a graveside burial (date yet to be determined).

Friday is Paul's bday. I'm trying to think of something fun for us to do for him. He has a work Holiday Lunch that day, so I doubt another big meal would be a good thing...just don't know  Maybe we will go to the mall for Santa pics, that's what we have done in past year. (all but last year since Wil was a baby) I guess back to tradition is good.

Just doing :laundy: today ho hum boring

Hi Nan, how are you feeling today? I hope you're good. I hope you can somehow make it to your Aunt's burial, for your cousin's sake. If not, I'm sure she will understand. Where does she live?

Happy Birthday to PAUL soon!!! YEA YEA YEA!!! Santa pics sound like a really fun way to celebrate a birthday. Go for it! Why didn't you take the pics last year? Sorry I can't help you with any other ideas. I still don't know what to do for John's birthday next month. We start the holiday season with my birthday and end it with John's on Jan 11. It's the crazy busy time of the year.

HI EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chatted with Michelle a bit last night on Facebook and said I would try and get over here to say hi!

Life has been crazy for us....but I have kept up with some of you through facebook (and my occasional venture onto myspace to say hi to Bubba:goodvibes ).

Hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If I remember correctly lots of you just had or are having disney related trips....hope it was or will be wonderful.

We are doing well. I am about the same. I can see 20/400 out of my L eye, but it is showing signs of permanent damage so they are not sure my sight will ever return fully. It is amazing how much you can get used to. I am driving, drawing blood, giving shots and pretty much doing everything I can again. I am doing a pretty hefty naturopathic protocol and seem to be doing well. There isn't anything that the medical world (MD) can offer me to help my sight so at least I am working on that. I will have another MRI at the end of the year (read....before deductible starts over!) just to see if things are stable.

My trip to DL for my sight returning celebration is still on for the middle of February (although Scott has said if my sight isn't back, he's taking someone else:lmao: ). We are still ironing out details and can't figure out how we are getting down there, but we will be there for sure.

Hope everyone is doing well. When I am having a rough day.....memories of this cruise and the amazing time we had keep me going. It really was a chance of a lifetime trip for us and I am so glad that I did it before my life got turned upside down. The pictures are still my screen saver and we all find ourselves watching this pics roll by with big smiles!

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs to all!

Holly, I really hope that you and Tyler get to do this vacation. You both deserve it and really need it badly. By the time June gets here, it will go quickly, you will be more than ready to play and have some fun.

Do you usually go to World instead of Land? Have you ever been to Land? How many times have you been to World with Tyler? Where do you usually stay? I wish I could go at that time to meet up with you both. But we're planning on going at the end of April/beg of May. We'll just miss you by a bit.
:cool2: :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

I'm supposed to be filling out my Christmas cards and cleaning out my Tivo. Yet, here I am attached to my PC and my fingers have not left the keyboard all day. I'm anxious. I know that Tom will be here in a few more hours and I'm getting filled with antici-----Pation! (referring to Rocky Horror....which I just saw for halloween after Monica mentioned it. sorry, I couldn't help it.)

Hi Kaylee....so glad you're doing so well. Go for the trip honey....tell Scott you can see fully even if you can't......don't want someone else going in your place. :lmao: :lmao:

Thank goodness for pictures and memories. You can always go back. I think we all share the same happy place being back on that cruise.

I hope your holidays are the best ones ever! I'll see you on Facebook if I can ever figure it out. I think myspace is easier. I still have some more exploring to do on Facebook before I can really say.

Hi Deb, good day here, although boring with :laundy:

My cousin lives in Redding CA, which is a 5+ hour drive from us, so not something that I can do in one day. We'll play it by ear. Paul can't go of course since he is working and I really don't do well driving that far on my own. So, maybe one of my sisters will step up??? My cousin does not expect us to come, so if we do it will just be gravy for her. We are talking about trying to get her to come down here after the first of the year for a get away with the girls. Her husband is on disability, due to a stroke, so she works extra hard, one wage earned and she helps her kids with their kids.(5 of them under 6)

We did Santa pics last year just not on his bday. Every other year we have used that day as a tradition. I think we need to turn back to it. Last year was just a bit foggy for me for stuff like that.

While away Paul and I had a good talk about me not working. He wholeheartly is supporting the idea and I was glad to hear that. I have been feeling guilty about not helping with family income. I've been really racking my brain with what can I do that makes me able to always be with the kids when they aren't in school, but be worthwhile and financially worth the effort. It's a hard nut to crack. Funny I had a call this morning from an old client, but I didn't answer the call, just don't want to be in the hot seat for anything with work related issues anymore. Too much stress.:scared1:

Oh Holly, we fly home on the 8th June!!!!:sad1: I do hope you manage to get a trip though even though we will miss each other by hours!

Nice to hear from you Kaylee. Glad you are doing well despite the challenges you are facing.

I hope you get that trip in February, you so deserve
it.

Nan, now you have had that talk with Paul, please try and relax and enjoy 'not working'. I don't like using that term because I know there is a lot you are doing to make family life great for you all.

Hi Nan

I am so sorry to heard that sad news and i know the feeling...as so you feel numb. If you cannot make it, Maybe you should send the flowers or card that you are unable to attend the funeral. I am sure they will understand it.

And this Friday Paul's birthday woo hoo as Ian is havng work night out with his workmates :scared1: as they are paying for the meals and will get champagne and drinks free:scared1: (Wish it is for me);) ;)

Annie just came home from Girl Scouts and she says YES LET'S GO WITH TARA!!

Funny how they bonded!!

Looks like everyone had a great time. Daniel's pic is funny!
I cannot imagine you sleeping while they were in Rockin Bar D :lmao: (Ms. Morning person)

I was showing Tara the pictures, and we were talking about how much fun we had together. That was one heck of a last minute throw together wasn't it? Hmmm....Tara's 18th is in February.....

I love all of the pictures you posted. It's so nice to see everyone having a great time. I'm sure you enjoyed your time in the Rainforest too (PS--I finally tried it out and loved it.)

We need to get together sometime soon.

PS Lisa--please pass along birthday wishes to Annie!

Nope, we did not drop off the face of the earth!! ;)
We spent the last week in WA with family for Thanksgiving. (31 of us together for the better part of 3 days...fun, fun.) Dennis and I spent the whole week there helping DN and her family get ready. They took the torch from us and the holiday will be at their home now.

We will be hitting the road seriously Thurs or Fri of this week. We are back in OR for a couple of days for dental appts and to celebrate our DD's 40th birthday. :scared1: Dinner with her and her hubby tonight. :goodvibes

Hi Angie. We are here at SSR, and when we were in Epcot yesterday we were remembering meeting you for the first time and eating at the Garden Grill!!!

Enjoy your family meal and Happy Birthday to your daughter.

Oprah's on a 4 Deb... :lmao:

Lyrica seems to be the best med I've tried for the Fibro... My neurologist put me on it last spring and we upped the dosage slowly so my system got used to it. I get a very low grade throbbing all over along with every one of my joints hates me... that's what I woke up with today... the throbbing is what usually keeps me up at night - it's just enough to make me uncomfortable.

Ask him... it seems to work for me. Doesn't make me sleepy either... I just have to remember to take it daily instead of when I think I need it.

A friend of mine retained a lot of water on Lyrica. But I do not know if they started her on a tiny dose or jumped in at a high level.

If you get it and have any odd reactions, let the MD know, don't wait until it is so far gone that you cannot wear any of your shoes or slippers. Flip flops :scared1: in PA in December are NOT a good look.
