It's time for me to do my Christmas cards and I was wondering how you were doing with the address list? Is it ready to PM or email? I have to start now because I leave for SC in two weeks from today. I figured I would do cards and decorating this week and tree and presents when we get back. It's hard going away right in the middle of December. Thank goodness we'll only be gone for 4 days. There's too much to do this month.

Alarm didn't go off this morning so a little later up than i wanted. Still managed to get to MK FOR 7.45 and CP for a great breakfast with Pooh and friends. Enjoyed the morning in the park.

Going for a walk round SSR, then will probably pop to Epcot for the evening and Illuminations.

Chatted with Michelle a bit last night on Facebook and said I would try and get over here to say hi!

Life has been crazy for us....but I have kept up with some of you through facebook (and my occasional venture onto myspace to say hi to Bubba ).

Hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If I remember correctly lots of you just had or are having disney related trips....hope it was or will be wonderful.

We are doing well. I am about the same. I can see 20/400 out of my L eye, but it is showing signs of permanent damage so they are not sure my sight will ever return fully. It is amazing how much you can get used to. I am driving, drawing blood, giving shots and pretty much doing everything I can again. I am doing a pretty hefty naturopathic protocol and seem to be doing well. There isn't anything that the medical world (MD) can offer me to help my sight so at least I am working on that. I will have another MRI at the end of the year (read....before deductible starts over!) just to see if things are stable.

My trip to DL for my sight returning celebration is still on for the middle of February (although Scott has said if my sight isn't back, he's taking someone else ). We are still ironing out details and can't figure out how we are getting down there, but we will be there for sure.

Hope everyone is doing well. When I am having a rough day.....memories of this cruise and the amazing time we had keep me going. It really was a chance of a lifetime trip for us and I am so glad that I did it before my life got turned upside down. The pictures are still my screen saver and we all find ourselves watching this pics roll by with big smiles!

My cousin lives in Redding CA, which is a 5+ hour drive from us, so not something that I can do in one day. We'll play it by ear. Paul can't go of course since he is working and I really don't do well driving that far on my own. So, maybe one of my sisters will step up??? My cousin does not expect us to come, so if we do it will just be gravy for her. We are talking about trying to get her to come down here after the first of the year for a get away with the girls. Her husband is on disability, due to a stroke, so she works extra hard, one wage earned and she helps her kids with their kids.(5 of them under 6)

We did Santa pics last year just not on his bday. Every other year we have used that day as a tradition. I think we need to turn back to it. Last year was just a bit foggy for me for stuff like that.

While away Paul and I had a good talk about me not working. He wholeheartly is supporting the idea and I was glad to hear that. I have been feeling guilty about not helping with family income. I've been really racking my brain with what can I do that makes me able to always be with the kids when they aren't in school, but be worthwhile and financially worth the effort. It's a hard nut to crack. Funny I had a call this morning from an old client, but I didn't answer the call, just don't want to be in the hot seat for anything with work related issues anymore. Too much stress.

Nan...just be there as much as you can and always remember that she's family and she will never be alone...

We spent the last week in WA with family for Thanksgiving. (31 of us together for the better part of 3 days...fun, fun.) Dennis and I spent the whole week there helping DN and her family get ready. They took the torch from us and the holiday will be at their home now.

We will be hitting the road seriously Thurs or Fri of this week. We are back in OR for a couple of days for dental appts and to celebrate our DD's 40th birthday. Dinner with her and her hubby tonight.

A friend of mine retained a lot of water on Lyrica. But I do not know if they started her on a tiny dose or jumped in at a high level.

If you get it and have any odd reactions, let the MD know, don't wait until it is so far gone that you cannot wear any of your shoes or slippers. Flip flops in PA in December are NOT a good look.

No sign of Tom or the kid yet. They were in Maryland at 5:30 pm so it'll take them another 3 hours or so from there. It's 7:30 pm now so they should be here within the hour. We already bought the pizza, but I'm sure all he's going to want to do is see Deanna, his girlfriend. That's fine with us. It has been a year since they saw each other. I have seen him twice since he left. I'll let you know when he arrives.

Hello all (and Nan).

Back from another busy day. I'm about to have dinner.

I had some bad news. The health insurance will not pay part of Sukie's bill or I should say might not. They have sent off questionnaire to the ENT and we had to fill some out as well. This is because his condition existed before he was on my insurance.

Still, they paid a very big portion of the bill, but that leaves us with A LOT to pay ourselves.

Talking about reining in our horns ... I have to think seriously about our vacation plans, or at least the cruise in September. The bill is still much higher than the cruise, but the money may just have to go towards paying part of the bill.

We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm not griping because they still paid part of it, though surgery is so expensive that even the "left overs" are rather hefty.

To say the least I'm a bit disappointed but those are the breaks.

Now I'm trying to figure out if we can swing WDW. I have the DVC points, so I have to think about our airfare for a couple of trips and the cost of a couple of APs.

It has been a really rough Monday, I forgot I had a huge project due today until this morning and I only had 4 hrs after school to finish it. I was supposed to pick Karli up from school but my moms friend did it so I could do my project. My mom is on her way home and I can't wait to be back at my home. Only 1 more week and this semester will be done! Then I will do the christmas cards and get them sent, get my tree, go to Dollywood with Matt. I feel bad though as my sister is begging to go to Dollywood but I want it to just be Matt and I, so thats what I told her. She took it well, maybe one day when she is out of school I will take her. So I now know why I don't have kids yet, these past few days have been soooo stressful.

I told you about this necklace, but I never posted the pictures. I got number 62 out of a limited edition of 1000. Not bad. I love it. More happy birthday to me.

Holly, I really hope that you and Tyler get to do this vacation. You both deserve it and really need it badly. By the time June gets here, it will go quickly, you will be more than ready to play and have some fun.

Do you usually go to World instead of Land? Have you ever been to Land? How many times have you been to World with Tyler? Where do you usually stay? I wish I could go at that time to meet up with you both. But we're planning on going at the end of April/beg of May. We'll just miss you by a bit.

I'm about 90% sure I can make it happen. But I still don't want to tell him, just in case. Then, once paid in full, I still might keep it a surprise and will tell him on his birthday, which will be the week before.

Never been to DL, only WDW. I've only been twice, Tyler's been only once about a week after he turned 3. We stayed at the Poly. He remembers Goofy's barnstormer ride (not sure if that's exactly what it's called) and remembers walking through Mickey's house and backyard and garage. But he doesn't remember the teacups or the Dumbo ride or Playhouse Disney. He's looking forward to doing rides he's never done, like Pirates of the Caribbean. He's already planning what he wants to do and see there, and he doesn't even know we're going for sure! Well, he knows we're going, just not when. Although we both desperately want to cruise, I told him our next vacation, whenever that may be, will be WDW.

I got that week off work approved, and now have to get the OK from his dad. Then I'll call my TA this week and find out how much of a down payment I'll need to book.

No, it will actually work because I just referred to the "week of the 8th", meaning the work week that starts on Monday the 8th. We'd actually be flying down on Saturday the 6th, so we'd have a chance the 6th and 7th to meet up with you & John!
And of course Connie, Monica, Lisa, and any other Florida folks I'm forgetting! And of course, I'm hoping Tyler's "Florida girlfriend" Bethany and her mom & dad (Heather & Tom) will drive over and join us for a couple days.
