Yup, it is pretty cool. The way they do it you can see through the lines of garland and see the mounument while you can see the tree and there are 8 foot tall "toy" soldiers and sailors around the base on the circle where cars drive by which is cool because it is the SOLDIER'S AND SAILOR'S MONUMENT.

I only got the tail end of Ty and the Extreme Home Make Over as we were putting clothes back in the closet and using the opportunity to clean out the stuff that we don't wear any more. Was that the house you went to see them work on?

Just popin' in to say Hi! This was a very busy weekend, I was working 10 hr shifts each day. This week and next week are final then I can relax and enjoy Christmas. Also the week after christmas we will be at the beach and this will be the view:

The couch turns into a bed so come on down! I am very excited since Matt gets to go too. He used all his vacation time for the cruise but they told him he could do his work from down there since he has been doing so much for them recently.

We just passed the six month mark of being back from our cruise together. A lot has happened since then. I'm so glad a good group of us are still here with each other every day. It's good to stay in touch and to share lives.

Christmas will be fun this year....sorry Ian. Do you get tired of all the talk that will go on this month?

Do you have anything special planned for New Year's eve?

We are going away on 30th Dec until 2 nd January 2009 to Dublin (Ireland) with our 16 friends. Just Olivia come and Keith is staying with in law as he don't want to come.

Yes it is great to speak you and keep it going and keep in touch.

We love Christmas especially I lost my mum on 12 Dec sometime feel sad. But great to have the kids around and make me fine.

Ian, glad to hear you didn't get much snow! HOLY COW, we got a lot. Everything I shoveled last night is back, so we'll have to shovel before leaving for work, plus un-bury the car. Lots and lots of school closings, but not Tyler's! I don't have to call in to work! Snow is STILL falling very heavily too. Amazing.

OK, no time for more, have to throw some clothes on and go shovel. Will pelt Tyler with a few snowballs while I'm at it!

Hi All! Tom and the kid are leaving FL today and they will be here tomorrow. I had a call in to my lawyer to find out about legal guardianship and she said that we would have to appear in court together. Not going to happen, we're in two different states and I wasn't planning a trip to Mickey until April. The lawyer said it would be easier to go for custody. For that all we have to do is overnight some papers and get a signature. So that's what we're going for. We have to make him legal so we can put him on our insurance. He takes anti-depression meds and I don't want any lapses in him taking them.

I can't believe that legally it's easier to get custody of a child than it is to obtain guardianship. How backwards.

Does this mean that I get to throw a party of some sort....I'll soon have custody of a 17 year old. EEK!!!
