This morning, Sukie said, could you imagine if Jackie and Cheri had been there last night? They would have loved it.

Awwwwww....and I'm SURE we would have...that's why next year is booked!:thumbsup2 I also look forward to Dianne and Suki meeting, I have a feeling you and I could just sit back and watch and laugh.

...got a few pages to catch up on...

I didnt went to work last night and had a rest and my boss said okay as he knew I phoned last Thursday.

Still have sore neck almost a week.... :scared1:

I am babysitting tonight with 2 extra kids and they are staying overnight tonght.

Alison will come around for a chat.

Terrible news about India on the news look so scared:scared1: :scared1:

I received a Xmas Card today :santa: from my brother (seem early)!!

Have a nice day

Deborah, you won't get much rest with 4 kids around tonight! But I still hope your neck feels better soon.

Small world....Paul is working on this project, in licensing job at Sony. He says there is WAY more to come but if he told you he'd have to shoot you.

It is so funny to hear Paul talk about it, because he is so totally clueless what the pull is to these games. Well, I can tell ya first hand that they are a "perfect" world that you get to control everything in and that there is much sucess and enjoyment to that for some people. :rolleyes1 Like me and Wilson. I hope that we will get something for him being there, maybe a play station left over or something like that...he gave me the employee price list the other day, it was 5 pages long with really little font so I didn't even start to look at it. Once I get into it I'm afraid I'll be a lost cause. He told me the hardware isn't that great a discount but the software is suppose to be pretty good.

I love our PS3's one of which was bought to be the DVD player in the Den. It is so much more than a game system. The other night I was able to show photos from the wedding in the den, by streaming from my Mac in the basement, through the PS3. I also had background music coming from my iTunes in the basement, through the Playstation 3 and the sound system.

For all of these reasons, I would recommend a PS3 over a standard Blu-Ray player.

How funny that Paul is working on the Home project.

I can see how it could be awesome. I was thinking that it would be a great way for us to have a virtual gathering.

I am not a parent, but I do find it a bit concerning at some of the behavior of these kids online. Some of them are trying to be a bit too grown up for their own good.

I also heard a voice chat from some young woman who claimed to be 31. Not sure that I know what a 31 year old woman's conversation is like. I found her dubious.

I've only had the beta for 2 days, but I have engaged no on e in conversation, and with good reason. Even if spoken to, I don't respond, as I find I have nothing to say, and cannot force myself to do the absurd spelling that the young people do, which I guess is supposed to communicate some world weariness, ennui and generally being too cool for life at all.

I'm also not about to "make friends" with people I don't know.

But I can see the potential. I've had a lot of fun bowing, even though I'm sort of crappy at it.

And just because I can, I'm sitting here in the basement, with a bluetooth keyboard on my lap, Dissing using the browser on my PS3.

How much more luxurious can it possibly get? Playing video games and Dissing at the same time?

So, by T-day morning Zoe was feeling better (no fever and no stomach, and minimum throat), but not great. By noon we decided she was well enough to go to the Grand Ballroom
Glad to hear about Zoe. Nice pictures.

Lucky we had a reason to meet in real life or I'd never have known ya   I agree, I think it's weird to talk with stranger online, I just can't trust people like that, ya never know if what someone projects will be their real personna :rolleyes1

Sounds like you might just be trying to be cool too  :cool2:

Soon we are off for a couple days in Somona. I don't have any idea of what we are doing up there, but for one spa ressie and dinner on Sunday night. I guess that should be a sign of relaxation to come, but I'm feeling a bit like I've not planned :guilty: Hopefully when on the road I'll let it go :rolleyes1

Popping in really quickly before I go do some more laundry and try to catch up.

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving.

I just got home from being in Vero Beach (beautiful resort). I went and saw a movie on turkey day (Boy in the striped pajamas), spent some time reading (outside and inside), little nosh in the Green Cabin room and included my Raspberry Mojitos. Yesterday one of my dear friends (David) drove down & spent the night. We had a blast - lots of laughing. We had dinner at Nino's in downtown VB, and breakfast today was at the Lemon Tree Restaurant (down the street from Nino's). Both highly recommended.

Home now and should be getting my butt in gear and do some cleaning - procrastinating as long as I can :rotfl:

Be back soon.....

Oh Gaylean, if you were shopping in my area, you would have been too late because people started camping outside of Best Buy and other stores on WEDNESDAY! The news showed all the tents lined up and the store provided them with a port-a-potty. CRAZY! :scared1:

We don't go to Best Buy but my niece works there and she said that they usually have 1000 people waiting in line but they only had 100 this year. They still have a lot of stuff they ordered. We started at Walmart and the line was about half the size it usually is.

OK I really skimmed. Nice pictures everyone. I forgot to take any again. I have some of the kids saying "cheers" with their sparkling cider. I'll post some later. I have my nephews b-day party to go to at Chuck E. Cheese  I love eating cardboard and hearing children scream :scared:

Keep thinking of your "happy place" :goodvibes and take some tylenol/advil with you :rotfl:

Living room is looking a tad bit better, but had to take a break as my back is starting to hurt. Got to take mini breaks in order to be able to keep going.

I don't get it....there's no one here to take my order and make me a raspberry mojito.....what happened :confused3 :lmao:

That's why they serve alcohol there! :rotfl2:

Well, it's such a beautiful and warm day again, I should have been raking my leaves yesterday and today, but just am not motivated. I'd rather enjoy my time off by watching movies! The leaves will still be there in the spring. ;)

Oh my gosh, it's hard to believe that it's warm and sunny today, only need a jacket, no winter coat or gloves, etc., no snow on the ground, BUT there's a winter storm warning that just posted for tomorrow into Monday with over 6 inches predicted! Tyler's going to be so excited because we'll finally get to make our first snowman of the season! :cool1:

Got a good chunk of stuff done today - more to do tomorrow, though. I could do more today (still may) but am happy with what I got done. MUST try to get that garbage disposal changed tomorrow.

How are you doing, Michelle? Any update on your dad? Are you trying to get something in place to go to VA?

Here's the latest on Dad... I posted this yesterday...

Not sure what's happening yet so I'm going to hold off... I'm sure MY showing up will just THRILL my Step mother...

BTW... Do you want to be on the Xmas card exchange list??? I have your address already...

Remember to do what YOU have to do for YOU....if you feel like you need to be there then go.

I'm so bad at doing Christmas cards so I'll pass on the exchange - chances are people wouldn't get their cards until the 4th of July. :rotfl:
