Thanks :thumbsup2 We've been thinking of getting one and would have had no idea what to look for.

The current profile is called BD 2.0 and supports something called BD Live, which is the ability for the player to connect to the Internet and offers cool Internet features (I can have movie nights with friends who are remote).

I have a Playstation 3 as a Blu-Ray DVD player in our den, and it is connected to our wireless network. Whenever there is a software update, I just update it like I would any computer. Any of the newer Blu-Ray players should be able to do this.

Crumbs, I've just read a rumour, and it is only a rumour someone copied from elsewhere that Disney is closing down POP because of falling attendance. If true, I don't know when, but the poster posted it in a thread about the late publishing of the May park hours.

Can things really be that bad?

Edit to say that the original post is here, but really it just looks a very big rumour.

Hi All!

Marilyn, congratulations on hitting 10,000.....I'm sorry you didn't get tagged. I just got lucky with mine.....being in the right place at the right time, I guess. It's so random.

I'm just doing a drive by posting because I have TONS of forms to fill out. I have at least 20 pages to fill out for guardianship of Tom who will be living here in two weeks. Then I have at least 20 pages to fill out for Ray to receive a veterans pension, which has to be done and submitted before the end of this month. Then there's a million attachments for both of them. I better get busy. I have now inherited a teen and an elderly to care for. Life constantly changes.....nothing ever remains the same.

I'm looking forward to having Tom's company, but he better be leaving his attitude in FL or else he'll go right back. I think he'll do well being back here though. I sure hope so.

Wow, I can't believe I slept almost all day! Just woke up now because my phone rang. Forgot to turn it off. It was a wrong number anyway. I actually feel like I could go back to sleep, but I'm afraid I'd miss Survivor. ;) I suppose I should eat something, haven't eaten yet because of sleeping so much. Not hungry though, so maybe I'll sleep a bit more.

Got my mom a cute sequined poinsettia top to wear with a long balck skirt for Xmas. My sister thinks it's okay to wear it for our formal night on NYE. I'm just not sure. What does the crowd think, ok or too much like Xmas??? It would be nice if she could wear it both times, then less to pack :thumbsup2

Hello Everybody

I just finish working at 11 pm tonight as my work have 20 percent off for the day. What a busy day.

I had been shopping this morning and got all xmas shopping (well I think so):rotfl:

Our daughter Carolyn has just said that Charlotte(one of the 7yr old twins) wants to 'bin her sister and get another one'!!!:lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

It is getting cold tonight, and it might even snow on Saturday!!!

Aye, it was cold today, forgot my scarf and realised that it was colder.

Holly, sorry to hear all that about Tyler at the moment. No wonder you are stressed and exhausted.

ditto
Drink more vodka it kills everything :lmao:

I went to School last night for fund raising and Olivia and I had the curries and bingo. I won the bingo also I won raffles of big Vokda bottle:rolleyes1

We can always stay in cold rainy Britain!!!:rotfl2:

Do you think I will get a tag when I reach 10,000 posts? I'm not posting on purpose I have to add.

i dunno when you get it :confused3 :cool2:

It's 500 mg of keflex three times a day for 12 days. I just took them to get rid of the last infection 2 months ago. It worked then so it should work again. They took a culture in the office to make sure it's the same kind of infection as the last one.

Marilyn, could you travel once a year to do a Thieves reunion alternating between DL and WDW? Would June be a good month for you?

Me and Gaylean are really trying to make this happen. We want to see each other and all the LEFT coasters, as I like to call that group, and we want to see everyone else too or as many people as we can get to come to the reunion.

I forgot tell you that thank for asking me to come next year but I cannot afford it :scared: hopeful we meet again in future:thumbsup2

As long as the kid is not cruising with his mother and family at Thanksgiving, we'll be having a mini reunion at Eastwood Manor with Ian and Sukie on Turkey day next year. Ian, your menu sounds delicious and I'm sure it's going to be a great and fun time for all. Have a blast and hope to be there next year with you all for dinner. Thanks for letting us crash in on you!

Bring lawn chairs... :rotfl:

Main Meal:

And if I change my mind, our Thanksgiving dinner will be at Orlando Ale House, EVERYONE INVITED!!!!

Sounds good Connie!!! What time is dinner?

So John is home again today. I have a wound doctor appointment and he usually takes me to those.

We were talking about Tom over coffee and decided to call Circles of Care in Melbourne FL which is the facility that has him. They told us that he was doing very well and that he's going home today. That is nothing like what Sandi told us last night. We have a feeling that she and Joe are exaggerating the situation and rushed to judgment trying to get rid of him. We're appauled. So we called Sandi on her cell and said for her to speak to Joe and Tom and talk about him coming to live with us here. If he can get back into the disel mechanic votech school that he was doing so well in before he got yanked out, then we would consider taking him in.

We don't know what is going to happen from here, we just know that it's not good for Tom to stay around Joe and we feel we have to get him out of there.

Deb.. you, John and Tom all have our love and prayers... you are great for considdering this...

I'm so sorry Deb. It must be very worrying for you and John, and something you could well do without having to worry about. How sad for a young man to be so troubled.

I read your later post and see you are offering a home for Tom so I hope all works out there and he gets some stability and love.

It is a horrible thing Deborah. I think all you can do is be a listener.

OK, I'm there!!!! To be honest we almost are as we arrive late afternoon on the 29th.:rotfl2:

I agree...

And Connie... Marilyn will be over for left overs... :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I like the idea of an Ale House :lmao: Your menu sounds much like ours. We have green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese instead of coleslaw and potato salad. We do not have pizza. I make our pies homemade and we have peach, blackberry and pumpkin.

Just don't tell Ian about the Casserole... ;)

I just got back from seeing the wound specialist. My right leg is infected again and I'm back on antibiotics. Just Great!

So his name is Dr. Beckett and his nurse said it was his birthday yesterday and I said mine too. When he walked into the room I said happy birthday to him and to me too. He said oh yea and do you know who else that's famous had a birthday yesterday? He said Mickey Mouse. I said I know he turned 76. I showed him my necklace. Now I love Dr. Beckett even more.

I say get a Dr. with the same hobbies as you then you have something to break the ice... :thumbsup2

Deb, we raised Chuck's brother's son for 3 years from his Sophomore year of High School thu graduation from H.S. He was only 14 y/o and he wanted to quit school! His parents had divorced and they both moved out of the area. We didn 't have to do any paperwork, I guess we just flew under the radar. The school accepted us as his guardians, and our address as his home. It was a struggle sometimes, because I had rules and his dad didn't....another story.......anyway, good luck and I am sure he'll be better off with you. Love Connie

Oh, my HOMEMADE pies! I haven't made a home made pie cruse for 20 years!!!!!!!!!

I MIGHT make the filling by hand, but the crust is ALWAYS Pillsbury dough boy for me

I'm pretty sure Pilsbury counts as homemade since you have to put it in a pie plate and bake it:thumbsup2

Michelle, at least with my invisible tag, I can't complain that I don't like it :lmao: :lmao:

Not sure if I answered, but invisible tags don't have ziplocks in them either... (but G... I'm a BIG fan of ziplocks!!!)

I'm happy to report that I'm home and I'm not stressed.

Things at work have actually been slightly better this week. The project from hell is slowly getting towards completion just in time for the project from Hades. But, for the moment I am much better.

so... How IS purgatory?

Drink more vodka it kills everything :lmao:

Thanks G... ;)
