Hi Deb - I want to say 12/10 :confused3 There were over 100 ordered, so they cost less at $33.50 a piece (plus s&h)

Thanks Mon, I'm so far behind on that thread. I just have not been keeping up. So that's a great price. I know she wants it paid by PayPal and that works for me. Let me know when you pay for yours. Thanks.

I thought Kris & the kid were staying at the house?:confused3

That's the plan at the moment, but not until me and John move out.

Initially I kicked both boys out because I didn't know who took the jewelry and coins. Before Tom confessed, Kris immediately called his job and asked for an emergency transfer to Florida. After we found out it was Tom, it was too late for Kris to stop the paperwork. So his job starts in Florida in a week or so. Tonight was his last night working in Bethlehem. He leaves here on the 15th.

Kris said he'll come back when me and John move out. Good! I'm liking it better that way. It's too expensive for me and very draining. My left leg, the good one, is all red and extremely swollen. I can't keep up at this pace. Kris doesn't have a license so he get rides back and forth to work and he usually works nights and closing. Me, John and the kid take turns driving him back and forth. I'm glad today was his last day of work up here. I just can't push myself anymore.

mom said if she ever got to Hawaii... she'd like to see The Arizona at Pearl Harbor...

I asked John if he wanted to see it. He said if we have the time, then yes he would. Myself, I would probably prefer not to. I can't do the Vietnam Wall and this would affect me the same way. I'll be sad and feeling down for a good long time. Do I really want to go there while on vacation? I won't be able to shake it off. But we'll see because John may want to do it. It's a late night port so we'll have plenty of time on the island.

Oahu is the only island I've been to...I did the Arizona last time but feel drawn to go again. Not sure if I will be doing this or not, but the sites of WWII excursion is pulling at me (http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...pearl-harbor-vip-military-base-tour-honolulu/). Not sure tho - I did go to Punchbowl before too. I don't think I can do this plus the luau tho. There is still a lot I haven't done on that island.

Is it the DIS or my computer???? :confused3

Things are taking a long time to post.

Well it's a different "Plan" since Kris won't be living here now. AND I have to trust that he will actually do what he says he will. I don't put much faith in that. He's only 19 and that's a year away.

John and I are going to have to come up with a contingency plan.....just in case. There are no guarantees.

I have a question......I received a "friend" request on the DIS from someone I don't know. She wants to be added to the CG for the Hawaiian cruise. So I added her to the list, but when I saw the friend request I ignored it. I'm not sure what it means. Does she get to see all of my posts on the DIS? I don't want that. Does anybody know?

I don't accept every friend request I get.

Morning all!

UGH!! What a morning! Didn't go to sleep until about 3am & I'm tired! :rotfl2: Don't want to work either (that's not new). Where's my sugar daddy???? :lmao:

ever have one of those days where it seems that everything you do is wrong in the eyes of a person?

having 1 of those days! Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Deb, if you are talking DISboards and not facebook, the 'friends' thing really doesn't mean anything. It's something the boards started and really has no impact. And the entire world can see all your posts on the DISboards...nothing here is private except your PMs.

.

.

Jackie if Deb has her profile set correctly only her 'friends' see what she writes. Some people keep their pages open and you can see what they write but most set it to just 'friends'.

I usually only accept requests from those I know or who I might get to know, such as a future fellow cruiser. In that case I usually 'de friend' them after the cruise unless we actually have a reason to keep 'talking' or if I am too nosey about them and want to see what they are up to.

(Veriifying we are talking DISboards here:)

So if someone had their setting only on 'friends' if they responded on a general thread, no one. other than friends, would be able to see their post? So if you are on a meets thread, if you don't 'friend' everyone on that thread, they won't see your posts? Or if the setting was on 'registered users' no 'lurker' would see their response? Kind of defeats the purpose of an information exchange message board.

I don't even have a friends list on the DIS, so I don't think most people do have their setting just on friends, because I've seen responses to my posts from just about everyboyd I've ever addressed.

Now facebook is a whole different story.. I have everything set as friends only.

I'll be sending out info once I have some to send out :lmao:

Monica--could you put me on the list to tell about it too?
Please?

( Not sure what excursions we will do yet.)

Thanks,
Jan

Some people you can never please. Oh well!!
