I am back from MD & back at work.

Hope everyone had a good long weekend!!

Well Tom did it again. It seems like Lilly is now a big sister.....meet her baby half sister, Zendaya Rayne:

And this is my sister Lillian:

So Tom now has two daughters. At least Heather lets Tom be a dad to Zen. He was there for the day and a half of labor and the C section and the birth. He held his daughter and cried, according to Heather. I wasn't there when Tom was. I waited until Tom wasn't there and went to see her. I don't want to see Tom right now.

I think they look like sisters except that Lilly is fair and has light brown hair with blue eyes. Zen is darker colored skin with jet black hair and lots of it and steel blue eyes that may change color still.

Zendaya means moonlight dancer according to Heather.

Now I have two great grand daughters. I can't beleive they are both girls with all the boys I have in my family. Although this is John's blood relation and just my relation through marriage. I love that I have two girls, even if I can only see one of them. I can spoil her and I'll love it.

Tom took off for Kansas after Zen was born. His father lives there and it seems he has some work for Tom to do. So he went there to get the job and make some money. I hope he does the right thing with it and sends some back to Heather for Zen and sends some to Rachel for Lilly. Time will tell if he grows up and becomes responsible for his daughters. I sure hope so.

On another note.....our Christmas Card list is almost ready to be distributed. I'm just waiting to hear back from Albert and then it's good to go.

Albert, go check your private messages on FB. I left you a note there about the joining us for a Thieves exchange.

Deb - she's beautiful. Not sure about the full name tho :lmao: I like Zen.

what's on tap for people this weekend?

I need to stop by the library, go to Loews (need to look for a door peephole) & then figure I'll go to Chili's for lunch. I can camp out there for hours & not bother anyone. I plan on working on my Sophisticated Mouse stuff so that I can send out reminders to everyone about final payments coming up.

BTW - for those of you going to Hawaii---excursions are finally up on the DCL site.

I might do some yard work (need to rake in the back), but not sure if I'll get to it. My big oak tree got trimmed yesterday...no longer touching my room or the neighbors.

Deb... she's beautiful...

Just remember... PINK!!! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

(and a few court ordered support payments will make him grow up... we can hope...)

Hmmm this weekend...

Trim the front trees... decorate the wreath... finish :laundy:, maybe put up the tree (we're going with the little artificial one again... I love real trees, but it's too much to do and if we end up going to Jersey again.. I hate leaving the real tree up...)

I showed Monica... This is what I'm stitching lately...

It's small, but it's getting me back into stitching again.

You can be sure that's what I will call her because I can never remember how to say her full first name. I like her middle name much better. She has Tom's last name and it goes with it well.

Lilly and Zen.....they're only 7 months apart. I hope they get to know each other in life....maybe not until they're adults, but we'll see.

We are rearranging rooms again. Kris leaves for Florida on Dec 15th. He already has his plane ticket that he bought. He didn't want to go and we didn't want him to leave, but because he already put in for his transfer before Tom confessed, he now has to leave and go where he has work. So he's going back to Florida and we are changing rooms and furniture around again.

Deb...

Zenyatta is also the name of one of the MOST winningest Thoroughbreds out there (you know me and my horses...)

They say she even flirts with the guys when she's out and about... :flower3:

Thanks Shell....That's supposed to be the reason why Tom went to Kansas. His dad lives there and says he has work for him. So he went there to get a job. I just hope he pays child support for both of these girls. I'm not sure what the moms will do. I know they are both on public assistance. no surprise there. He just better do the right thing by them without having to be court ordered. Time will tell and we will see.

Decorating for Christmas this weekend is a good idea too. After we move the rooms around, maybe we should decorate.

I'm glad you're doing your stitching again. It looks nice.

hahaha.....she better not be a big flirt.

That's ok...I keep calling her Zenida.....so I'll just stick with Zen. haha.

Hi Thieves. We are doing fine. I pop over here from time to time. Mostly keep in touch on FB. Bubba is good except he has been fighing a cough for over a month now. Just can't kick it.

We did have a nice thanksgiving. Spent part of the day with Bubba's parents and the rest of the day with my coworkers and their family. (I work with both the husband and wife). They have two little boys 7 and 4 whom we just adore. In fact we are doing disneyland with them this weekend.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hey V.....Great to hear from you again. I hope by now Bubba is feeling better. I hope that cough is gone.

I was wondering how your "new" job was going. Obviously, it's not so new anymore and sounds like you get along with your coworkers. It must be so much fun taking the little boys to DL. Have a blast!!!

Mom's got a cold...

I'm still off line...

warmer here than in Atlanta... for now... it will freeze by next week...

hey Holly... did you get that snow yesterday?

Yup! It started late afternoon into evening that day, then the next day was a snow day for 100 schools in the area. :rotfl2: Most people had 10 inches, but our local news said we had just under 8. I know, that's nothing compared to what you get, but we rarely get more than 4 inches at a time, so it was major for us. Not anywhere near enough for ME, of course, but we both still loved it. :goodvibes It's halfway melted now though, and will all melt tomorrow and Sunday because it's supposed to be raining and almost 50 degrees both days.

In Michigan the court automatically gets involved to enforce child support if you're on public assistance. That's a good thing for the single moms out there. :thumbsup2

Been super busy, as usual when Tyler is with me, so no time to get on here until tonight. Tonight we went to an awesome event called "The Christmas Journey" at a local huge church. Sort of like a live nativity, but it's a half hour walk through the woods, walking through "Bethlehem" and other locations, as you walk through the Christmas story. Real animals, great actors, etc. and the guide leading the way narrates throughout. Then afterwards they provide fresh baked chocolate chip cookes, still warm, and hot chocolate, plus a goody bag for all the kids with candy, cute stickers, and a Christmas ornament to make at home. They also have people from one of our local candy shops, a 4th generation owned place that hand makes candy canes, and they do it right there so you can watch, and of course they have tons on hand to buy! They're 4 for $5, so we picked out 8 different flavors to share. My favorite so far is pina colada. The cotton candy one is pretty good too. :goodvibes

Tomorrow we'll be shopping for the 2 gifts we took off the Christmas tree at church for needy families. I'm hoping to work on cleaning the kitchen some more. Last week I did one section, and it's still spotless, so I'm moving on to another section. Once it's fully cleaned and in working order, we will be making pasties using an authentic recipe from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (where they're known for their pasties). After our wonderful Thanksgiving turkey dinner, Tyler said he still would have rather had pasties instead. :rotfl2:

For dinner tomorrow we will probably do the spaghetti dinner fundraiser at church being put on to raise money for a 12 year old girl's medical expenses as she fights cancer.

Hoping to find time to go see the movie "We Bought a Zoo" because Tyler won 4 free tickets from answering a kids trivia question on the radio. This is the 3rd time he's won. ;)

Sunday there's a family Advent afternoon planned at church which we might go to. Or we might just relax at home for a change. We will wing it and see how we feel when the time comes. :thumbsup2
