John took this sequence of photos as the Wonder left the Bay. Photos were taken from Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands above the Golden Gate Bridge as the Wonder was leaving the San Francisco Bay.

GREAT SHOTS!!!

I've driven up the Headlands... what a ride!!!! But WELL worth it!!!

But didn't you want to yell "TAKE ME WITH YOU"!!! :worship::worship:

I SOOOOO wanted to go to San Francisco... I used to go and visit my sister near Modesto and I loved to go both to the city and the wine country...and Yosemite... and the Jelly Belly factory :goodvibes

I have been sooo enjoying the wonderful weather today!! I've been out on the deck or visiting next door with Emmy, my friend (a little puppy who looks for me every time I come out...) (usually trying to figure out what I'm cooking on the grill)

It's supposed to rain again later in the week and I'm just so wanting to be outdoors... :goodvibes:goodvibes

Enjoying all the pictures. Thanks for posting!

Michelle, tell the QM that she is looking lovely as always.

Jan, glad that DGD is doing well. Wedding plans are coming along. Really isn't too much to do which is one reason we liked the idea of a cruise wedding. DD got her dress and they got their rings. DD is using my mom's wedding ring. She got a perfectly matched engagement ring. You would never know they weren't a set. We are both thrilled with the rings. My mom would be thrilled too if she realized. She is in a nursing home with severe dementia. But I know how happy she would be.:goodvibes DGD's have their dresses, too. DD and I are bother procrastinators. A couple weeks before the cruise we will be in a panic.:scared1:

Deborah, sounds like you had a great cruise but the park crowds...:scared1:

One of my friends from college is a White House Correspondent for one of the local stations in Washington. THIS is what flashed across the wire telling him to get back to work...

They said several news agencies knew about it but stayed quiet... (sort of like when the Canadians went into Iran to try and rescue the hostages... )

May 03, 2011

On Tuesday, May 3, Disney Cruise Lines' Disney Wonder arrived in Vancouver for its inaugural Alaska cruise season.

For the first-time ever, Disney Cruise Line is offering Alaskan cruises during a four-month season of seven-night sailings aboard the Disney Wonder in summer 2011. Combining the natural wonder and adventurous spirit of Alaska with the unparalleled, family-friendly experience provided by Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Wonder will depart out of Vancouver, calling on popular ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.

As part of its Alaska itinerary, Disney Cruise Line guests will be able to experience breathtaking natural vistas, an abundance of wildlife and the rich history and customs of Alaska’s native culture. On their Alaskan adventure, guests may catch a glimpse of a brown bear, bald eagle or humpback whale, and explore magnificent glaciers and fjords in Juneau. In Ketchikan, guests can fish for some of the largest wild salmon in the world and learn about local culture through hand-carved totem poles. In Skagway, Disney Cruise Line guests can traverse panoramic landscapes by railway, or pan for gold like miners from the famous Klondike gold rush.

During the 2011 cruise season, the Disney Wonder will make 20 round trips to Alaska from Vancouver.

To learn more about Disney Cruise Line, to book a vacation or for more detail on offer terms and conditions, guests can contact their travel agent, visit disneycruise.com or call Disney Cruise Line at 1-888-DCL-2500.
