Thanks everyone for the kind words... Steve's death has been quite a shock because he didn't even tell his family he was sick. Apparently it was too far along and he decided that he wanted to enjoy what time he had left. He DID make opening day at Yankee Stadium and he did make it down to the shore last weekend - his favorite place, so maybe he knew the end was near... It's left alot of his friends bewildered.

Anyway. we're thinking of gardening here... gotta clean things up out there and I've decided to give mom some flowers for her garden for mothers and her Bday (the 13th...)

He did it his way.

Michelle, the wedding was over very quickly to be honest. Funny that!!! Still the occasional comment about those hats though.

Been humid here today which is odd at this time of year. Looks like we are in for a rainy week though, hopefully showery so might not be too bad. We desperately need the rain though which is a big shame as I have enjoyed this strange dry warm weather we have had. It was the hottest April on record apparently.

I think we've switched our weather around... except today is kinda nice... they still have flooding up north... hope it goes fast... I want to go to the lake and not have to go swimming off my friends front porch!!!

We went to brunch today because tomorrow being Mother's day it will be a zoo!!! no crowds today... Had my benny without fighting anyone for it. I think all the kids from Union college have gone home for a break anyway...

We are trying to figure out the plans for going to Baltimore for Emma's graduation. It is the weekend of the 20th. Apparently everyone is going. Even my other brother so it would be a lot of planning... 4 hotel rooms so far... 9 people... (last count...) We are having dinner with Frank's family on Saturday night (Emma's boyfriend... This is them over the holidays... (I'm sorta hoping that something comes of this relationship, but he's going for his RN after college and possibly a physicians asst. so it may be a while...)

Ohh and Mark graduates in Ohio next week (we couldn't go... not enough tickets...) and then gets married in August... (I have a headache thinking of everything I have to get done this year!!!)

Well it is a fun summer and lots to look forward to Michelle.

She is a pretty girl and her boyfriend is a looker too. Very attractive couple.

Cute couple! Make sure Emma get's a pre-nup if he wants to get married and have her put him through RN and PA school.

(I walked in to work one day in 1970s and one of the secretaries was fit to be tied. I got a few minutes alone and asked her what had happened. She had been at a pub for dinner the night before. Used to go there with her husband who had recently died and was not in a happy mood to be eating at "their place" without him so was not paying much attention for a while. Then it dawned on her that the next booth over was a batchelor's party. What got her upset was when the fellows kept asking the groom what he saw in the bride, she was not a looker, etc. He finally admitted that he did not love her but she had a good paying job and would pay for his medical school training. When he graduated he would divorce her to marry someone pretty. The secretary wished she had some way to find that bride! We decided that maybe by the time he had his degree he would really love her and/or there would be kids and the wife would GET him for child support AND alimony. That was the only way the secretary could calm down enough to get some work done.)

One of the cruisers posted on Facebook that it was 60 degrees on their whale watching excursion. It was 66 degrees Fahrenheit (19 Celsius) in Indianapolis. I would put those temps in my "balmy" category. Sounds good!

3 years ago we were at WDW playing and waiting for our cruise!! In fact we met Angie and Dennis for lunch in Epcot and a few hours of fun!
