Michelle- I am glad to hear your mom is doing well. We will get to CA on the 25th. We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn after the Panama Canal cruise. It was nice and very close to Disneyland.

Jill, we're getting there the same day (but at night because I can't miss work because my co-worker already has that day scheduled off), and will be at DL & CA all day the 26th, so maybe we'll see you and Matt there! :goodvibes But if not, of course we'll see you the next day. :yay:

I'm surprised all of you going haven't figured out a time to get together at DL before the cruise to at least have a meet and a Mickey Bar together...:idea::idea:

Jill and Lisa, we liked Hop too. Not a ton, but it was pretty good. Kathe, the reason we didn't love it is because the middle of the movie was kind of long and boring (at least from a little kid perspective), but then the end was awesome, so that made up for it. But I'm not sure a 3yr old would be entertained throughout that long middle part. I guess each child is different though. Tyler kept sighing throughout, and when I asked him if he was bored (I could tell he was), he plastered a fake smile on and said, "No, I love it" (but not saying it with enthusiasm). ;)

I think some have, but it will be too rushed a day. Besides, we'll see everybody for 13 days, so I'm OK with a chance meeting. It's a small park I hear, so I suspect we'll stumble across others. :thumbsup2

these are the flowers my sister sent my mom... (she got another bouquet from my brother with spring flowers in it...)

Those are so cute!!!

Yes, they really are cute :flower3:

Jill, Gydell and I will be at the CCI too, on the 24th and 25th, but we will be leaving in the morning on the 26th. I'll be heading to Hollywood on the 26th!

Ok... CCI... the night of the 25th... meet by the pool... someone bring chips and soda... :thumbsup2

So I had lots more back and forth emails with my buddy Jayson today. He's home, went home last night, and is fine. He said "DUUUUDE, it's SATURDAY, why are you working???" :rotfl2:

I couldn't get up to make it in by 8, so I only worked 8:45 to noon, leaving just in time to pick Tyler up for the movie. By the time I took him back to his dad's, I knew I was too tired to go back to work. Stopped at the grocery store on the way home and was too tired to even figure out what I needed, so grabbed a couple things, rushed home and straight in to bed. Slept for 4 hours, and only woke up because I had skipped lunch and supper and was HUNGRY! Hopefully if I only work a half day tomorrow after church, it will be enough to get caught up. :thumbsup2

Found a cute movie in the Disney Channel, called "16 Wishes", going back to bed when it's done. :goodvibes

Hi Holly! Thanks for the review. Sorry you didn't love it, but I'm sure Tyler and you enjoyed your time together :goodvibes I think I will wait for a more suitable movie to come along for Serenity. I also saw a preview at the theatre tonight, and I do think it's a little over her head and she'd be bored.

We really enjoyed our movie tonight! Two of my GS's ended up coming and they both thought it was very funny. Not exactly my kind of movie but I really enjoyed watching them enjoy themselves!

I was up very early for work today, and hardly slept a wink last night so will be turning in shortly!

:) I wish we had an extra week just to enjoy LA! Gydell and I plan on being in the parks late on the 25th to see WOC. I imagine the park will be a zoo since it is Easter Weekend :scared1:

Glad they loved it! :goodvibes I actually loved that one. :thumbsup2

Also in Hop, you might get asked the question "What does sexy mean?" I was shocked to hear that a couple times. The bunny was trying to get into the Playboy mansion and called himself a sexy bunny. :rotfl2:

So??? You think we go to bed at 9:30????

Am or Pm she asks... :rotfl2:

I'll let you know about "Hop". Yes, we saw "Diary of a Wimp Kid 2" last weekend and both loved it! It was hilarious, but almost made me cry at the end (but in a good way). GREAT movie. I didn't expect to like it.

Holly, since two of my grandsons decided to come with me, I thought it was kind of neat for the two brothers to watch this together. I thought it was funny that in the movie they had a 3 yr old younger sibling too, since Serenity is also three. I don't know if they actually paid much attention to the family bond though...all they could talk about all the way home was "the foot" :scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hi everybody. Life has been crazy busy with work. But at least I've got enough overtime banked so I won't miss a paycheque when we're cruising. Ken's busy with federal election volunteer work now until we go. He's a little disappointment that we'll be cruising and he'll miss the last two weeks of the campaign.
Both girls are out at Girl Guides today selling the classic spring cookies. And we've got company for the weekend, so I better get off here. Before I sign off:

Michelle - glad to hear the QM is doing great

Monica - hope you are able to get the transfer you want

Kathe - that's cool that you've got 3 bonus grandsons now.

Hi to everybody!

Hi Shannon! Hope you enjoy your company and have a great weekend together. Tell Ken not to worry about missing the last couple of weeks....who knows, it may not be long until the NEXT election after this ;)

drive by post...
so much in my day lately - just don't have time to check-in.

All is great with us -

Molly was accepted at Notre Dame - all girls high school - she is over the moon with excitement for this next stage in her life. (me too) She leaves for a week of travel to the East Coast (wash dc, PA, NY) with her 8th grade classmates. lucky girl :thumbsup2

Wilson is full on in baseball - he is the youngest on his team - but holding his own - it's a great team - undefeated so far (3games) Racing season is underway - his first race will be next weekend

Paul - work is good - may have travel in his future - he is still liking his job

My work is the same - still struggling with cash flow -deferred paychecks for me for a bit - sucks - but it's a job. I have another iron in the fire - might have a move sooner than later. Had a great bday - saw the SF Giants play and they won :cheer2:

Can't wait to see friends on the ship - we aren't coming in early - the kids are missing enough school as it is :rolleyes1

love to you all

Nan(a)

Hi Nan!!!

Good to see you stop by... thought about you tonight when I saw the Smarties in the Easter Aisle at the store.

Please tell Molly we're really proud of her!!! She's gonna love the east coast... when does she arrive?

Can't wait to cheer on SPEED!!!

Wishing I was going with you... :dance3::dance3::dance3:

How's your mom doing?

Love to all! :grouphug:
