I was very moving. And they had a nice turn out. It was done by several of the churches in the area all coming together - including the Catholic church this year which sort of surprised me. (they had a lighting of the Advent wreath)
At the end they invited everyone to come forward to light candles which they had on a table in the shape of a cross with blue tableclothes - I lit 2 - one for my Dad, my uncle Frank and my Uncle Donny and the second for my grandparents who although they passed along time ago... I feel like they are always with me.
It was quite beautiful to see the candles all lit in the end.
This is a wonderful thing! There are lots of us Christmas depressed people, me among them. I have done a good job of "not sharing my depression" the last few years, but it is tough.![]()
