I get to see Gydell, Bill, Brent & Betsy at Chef Mickey's on the 4th of September (830am :scared1:) :cool1::dance3: then may hang out a bit at a park with them too. Not too sure exactly what I will eat on the buffet (really trying to be good) but will plan for it :thumbsup2

No Bill, just Betsy, Brent and me. I figure that I will have fruit and eggs..... at least I hope that's all I have!!!

Do you think that they'll put one ship en route to Hawaii in May and leave her there and island hop all summer? Then bring her back in September? Is that a possibility since they will have four ships in the water by then AND they will have the hotel operating. I'm just saying....then we could do a B2B with a hotel stay.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think that is what has been rumoured the most Deb.

OH Good!! Then I better save up my deposit money for next month. I'm sure it's going to be steep, but well worth it. I have the 2011 WBTA to cancel and can use that deposit money to transfer.;)

Psychiatric appt. today. Last one was almost 3 months ago. Instead of monthly, he started spreading them out since things have been stable. Reduced dose of one med last time and he said he's hoping to eliminate one dose completely at today's appointment. I think that would be good. Although there are still problems with aggression and physical stuff (last week he threw a chair at a child and tried to push over a tall cabinet onto a teacher), things did not get worse when we reduced the med last 2 times, which is GREAT! Anything left is really stuff he needs to work on learning controlling himself (which is what he's working on with the psychologist weekly), so I feel comfortable reducing the dose again. :goodvibes PLUS, he's going back to school in less 2 weeks, where he's comfortable and feels secure, so he should be fine. :goodvibes

Thanks Kathe, I'll take them. Uncle Teddy is still in ICU. I was arguing with my grandmother and my mother yesterday. I told them that they can't have my uncle. I told them that they had Brian and they weren't getting Unc. I told them that we needed him here with us.

It's so strange the things you do when you're scared of losing a loved one. I paniced yesterday. I called my cousin at work. He's an xray tech in Bradenton Florida. He asked me to please text. He said it's hard to explain to a patient when his cell rings. I found out that my uncle's lungs were filling with fluid. That paniced me. My cousin, Doug, was wonderful. He put my mind at ease when he called me back after he was done with his patient. He got all the hospital info and contacted them. Then he got back to me and let me know that it's not like pneumoneuia. His fluid is building because of his shallow breathing from his 3 broken ribs. This makes me feel a little better. They have him on a respirator.

I can't believe how strong and brave I was for my mom, but what a basket case I am for my uncle. I don't know why.

I'm going to go to the hospital on Long Island to see him this weekend.

Things certainly sound to be improving Holly.

The leg is the leg. The infection is gone, but it still keeps weeping and it's very painful. When I go for a doctor visit, the nurse scrubs the surface clean for the doc to get a good look. When they touch it I scream, much less scrub it. I only take half a vicodin and it's not enough. I don't like taking any more, it makes me sick. Then it hurts for 3 to 4 days after the appointment and I try not to take any more pain meds, but sometimes I do. The doctor told me I should get aggressive with it and keep soaking it in chlorine. I came home and soaked it right away and really screamed with pain. So I didn't soak it yesterday. I have to do it today. I dread it because it hurts still. The chlorine cleans it up nicely, but it doesn't seem to make a difference with the weeping.....so I don't know. I have a feeling that it's got a mind of it's own and it's going to do what it wants when it wants and there's not much we can do to change that. This time it's over a year since it has gone away completely. Then even when it does, I know it will only come back again. It's a good think I like this doctor because I have a feeling that he's going to be in my future for a very long time.

Thanks Mon, life is filled with ups and downs....just makes Oct so much more worthwhile. I can't wait for it to get here!!!

Thanks Deb, you are so right. We are who we are. Sometimes it can frustrate us if we have hard things to deal with, but we have so many good things too and we should always be thankful for those. My mom always told me, "I know all of your strengths and all of your weaknesses and I love you no matter what." I guess that's what it's all about. That's all that matters. Hug that family of yours and know that you are blessed....and Deb....we love you too!

First of all:

:grouphug:I LOVE YOU GUYS!:grouphug:

Second...and in the same theme, I wanted to show what sweet Kaz did for sweet Mandy (who often felt a little sad when she would see a WBPC Champagne girls photo).

Good 'photo shop' job, Kaz!

I don't belive DCL can do that without including a foreign port. I'm guessing the two Hawaii stops are at the front and back of a repositioning deal. (Alaska...Asia?????)

Excellent Kaz....thanks!! Angel was always with us in spirit. Now she's there for real. You're the best!!!

Oh well, it was a good dream anyway. I wonder how they will tie it in with the hotel then?

I had heard that as well Jackie, but had forgotten.

Great work there Karen. Mandy even has the spotlight on her!!

Yeah, Maz but I think it's Mandy's inner glow. She is an angel after all...

Or maybe I forgot to balance the skin tones.

Hi Lisa.....it won't be long now. I'm counting down the days. Does Lila wear tank tees? I got her some nice tink ones. I thought she could do the layered look and wear another tee under. I hope that works. They're really cute. I keep forgetting that it's only 3 days. I have way more than just 3 things. I'm having WAY TOO MUCH FUN buying for a GIRL. I'll have to fill all the pockets of the FE. haha. Of course, Lila has all the gifts....haha. I have to still pick up stuff for the adults. :rolleyes1

She'll love them!

We figured out part of our gift last weekend while they were down here so now I need to get started putting them together.

Forgot to post - re: Hawaii

I'm in for the cruise - I've been on Oahu & would love to see the other islands w/o having to do the puddle-jumpers in between. Plus I want those sea days. I'd go in May.

ditto for us. We really want to see the volcanos.

I'm getting so excited for all the people coming to my neck of the woods soon!

:thumbsup2 Glad you have so many fun meets to look forward to!

I walked 4.2 miles last night w/ Will & Mickey. I'm a tad bit sore today but happy about it.

We met at the bus depot near the parking lot at the Ft Wilderness campground. It's 1.1 mile from there to the Settlement (where we stopped, used the facilities & got some water) before heading over to the Ft Wilderness Resort (1 mile). Stopped there for a few moments (Mickey needed to show his ID at the front desk) then headed back. I wasn't sure I'd make it, but I did :woohoo:

My friend Marlene (who is doing the Alaska cruise w/ me) will be walking w/ me either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm going to Epcot Saturday to say HI to Emily, Jason & her parents who are doing the pin trading event at the World Showplace. Figure I will walk around the lagoon atleast 1 time (1.1 miles if I remember correctly).

Thanks Deb - I'm down almost 11 lbs....must keep it going. Talked my sister out of the 1/2 marathon in February and into the 5k - I KNOW I can do the 5k - maybe the 1/2 in 2012.

Monica, you are doing awesome!!!
