:lmao::cool1: Michelle, you will never be a thread killer! If you slows down, you round up everyone again!

Its Friday :cool1::cool1::cool1:
My little Miss Shaelyn enjoyed her advancement ceremony last night. They had all the little Sparks that were advancing walk under a rainbow to join the Brownies, and the advancing Brownies walked over bridge to join the Guides. Very cute to see lots of excited girls. Will have to share pictures over the weekend once Ken gets them onto the computer.
Kaleigh is looking forward to being a Spark next year, she think they look the best because their uniform shirts are PINK

I'm supposed to be working so I should get busy.

Deb, couldn't quote because your responses were inside my quote.
Aaron was a baby in the 'crossover' because he was a baby on the island (and had just been born in the sideways). The bomb DID work. D&P's son Charlie wasn't part of the island experience...the same for any children that were or would be born to any of the surviors.

Did you notice the stained glass window. It has symbols of different religions and also the wheel...which referenced the wheel on the island that Ben/Lock turned to shift off the island and is also the Buddist symbol of the DARMAHchakra. One of the things I loved about the show was all the visual clues and easter eggs.

BTW, the MIB (Smokey)has a name...they just never told US. On the script he was Samuel, but at some point decided not to let the viewers know his name.

They actually have all the stuff to make your own mask, it was an event you could do on the EBTA, and I'm sure they will do it on the WBTA and WBPC too. Some ladies had very glamorous ones!

I've racked up a mess of overtime this week and could probably come in on Saturday, if'n I feel like it.

.

Thanks Jacks....lots of loose ends with that ending. I haven't rewatched it yet, but I will. I need it to settle in a little more....so much to think about. Very good creators, no matter what.

How wonderful to be able to make masks onboard. Are they bedazzled??

Take it easy and make sure you don't get sick from all that OT. That's what happened to Monica.....remember.

I think it is expensive actually. If there was more for the money then ok, but who drinks loads of soft drinks?;) Fruit, chocolate strawberries etc would be a good idea. DVD player perhaps? Large private area for sunning/shading with luxury sunbeds. Perhaps 1 free alcoholic drink per person.

I like the way you think, Marilyn!!!:banana::banana:

Had to laugh at the stories being told about adult issues...both male & female ones.

So glad today's Friday....looking forward to the long weekend. I have scrapbooking tomorrow & the plan is to FINALLY get the EBTA pics on the disc to mail out to Jackie. They're all on the computer but haven't transfered them yet.

Ian - glad you're back home...how are you feeling?

Deb - how's the leg doing? Any news on John & moving out the hospital?

Maz - how are you feeling?

Holly - how are the headaches?

Healthy people -- how are you guys doing??? :goodvibes

Any fun/interesting plans for the weekend?

Hi Mon, Happy Long Weekend!!!

The leg is a pain, literally. My next appointment with the wound specialist is Tues after the long weekend. I don't know where we're going from here.

Rumors at John's job now are that they will put the kid into the hospital....he'll get the job they were going to put John in. That's fine with me. He doesn't live under my roof. We're not sure where John is going though. But if they are eliminating the fire alarm shop, then he's moving somewhere. He's fine with it.

Just BBQs this weekend. John wants to try pulled pork on the BBQ. We were thinking of going out to play some mini golf locally and maybe we'll pick a movie at the drive in or on PPV. We just watched Avatar last weekend. Loved it!

Next weekend is Hershey Park.....fun, fun fun!

You.....Never!

Hi Shell!!

Did you get your letter finished? How do you feel about it?

Me??? A Thread killer??? I'd have to cattle prod myself and well... that's just weird...

Letter not done. We've started a conversation again and there are lots of things to discuss... we'll see. I'm still standing my ground though.

Look forward to seeing the photos. I have 1 Guide granddaughter and 3 Brownie granddaughters.

Keep going with all the good stuff with the leg Deb. I know you will though.;)

Looks like the job situation will be ok, and good thing is they both still have a job.

As far as Lost goes, I was chatting with my Lost addict son last night, and he went on some forums after watching the final episode(not before!!!!) He kind of gets it. Apparently the writers said it is loosely based on the Western interpretation of a Hindu belief(or something). In that when you die there are certain people you have to connect or reconnect with before you can go to the light. So, some people did meet up again, some not. Some didn't remember, but got a feeling and flashback when the person walked past or something. Some people weren't there because they still had people to reconnect with.

Any help? Double Dutch to me of course, and he did say loads more but I have forgotten.:lmao: Shame he couldn't chat with you. He did say there wouldn't be any more though.

Castaway Cay cabanas....$499. They hold 8 people. That's $65 per person. I'd do it with my DIS pals! :thumbsup2

.

I would too, if I could find 7 other people. That would probably enable me & Tyler to be able to actually stay on CC longer than an hour. We could hang out in the cabana, then run down to the water and back. Very nice! :cloud9:

Actually, I haven't had one since our last cold front moved away. It's been dry and hot for over a week, no weather change, so I've been pain-free. :thumbsup2 My main trigger is weather change, and it seems my food triggers are secondary, at least from what I've tracked recently. I see on FB you had one yesterday, I hope it went away quickly for you with the Imitrex. I can't take Imitrex, made my heart pound too fast when I've tried it in the past, and didn't make the headache go away anyway. It works for my sister though.

Aw, very cute! :goodvibes I keep meaning to ask, it seems obvious, but I just want to make sure, Guides are the same idea as our Girl Scouts, right? Sorry for dumb question, just want to get it straight in my mind.

Deb, your plans all sound fun to me! :goodvibes

Thursday I was over an hour late for work, decided to sleep in a bit when my alarm went off because I was feeling really stuffy and too tired to get up. Felt not so great throughout the day, slept my lunch hour, went to bed fairly early, got up Friday feeling worse. I would have called in, if it weren't for Fridays being sort of taboo for me to call in (always shorthanded that day). Mr. Energizer Bunny lawyer jokingly asked me if I could just not breathe because I sounded so awful. My response was that I'd happily go home to avoid further contamination, to which he replied "Ha ha, nice try". :headache: Anyway, I slept my hour away at lunch, came home after work and went to bed pretty early, didn't even get online, just didn't feel like it.

Today I was woken up by Tyler's dad calling me because he had just given Tyler the last pill of one of the meds and didn't know what to do. :headache: He asked me if I have another bottle of it here. :headache: I patiently told him that on the label of the bottle, it says one more refill, and that he simply has to call the pharmacy to request a refill and then go pick it up. That interfered with his plans for Tyler for the day, so I told him he should have picked up a refill when he saw it getting low a few days ago. His response "Oh.....I guess I just thought you'd have more for him". :headache: MEN!!!!!!!! :headache:

ANYWAY, I'm catching up a bit online, and headed back to bed soon. I'm craving my favorite Tim Horton's bagel and donut, so I might run up there and hit the drivethrough in my pajamas. Feel too rotten to care what people think.
