One of our newer lawyer (we have 3 new ones, lots of turnaround in our office lately) has a son whose college roommate ended up being one of the writers of "Lost". Small world! :thumbsup2

Thanks ladies (and bubba) for holding down the fort for me...

Came home from dinner a little under the weather and stayed in bed most of today...

Have to get ready to go to TX on Tuesday and I hate when I get sick right before...

It seems Brian has a sore throat also... but he didn't get his from me...:worship:

He found out yesterday that he is graduating with honors in Theater and his cord will be the colors of his favorite team...The Mets!!!

Congrats to Brian! :goodvibes

Hope you feel better quickly, Michelle.

The "Lost" finale was on TV again tonight, this time the version with pop-ups. Bummer, I caught it towards the end. Maybe there's an online version with pop-ups, will check maybe tomorrow.

Off to bed again. Hoping to feel better tomorrow because no matter how I feel, I will still have to mow, do laundry, grocery shop, and try to find enough motivation to pull weeds. Then I have to think of something fun for us to do on our extra day off on Monday. :goodvibes Too bad all the parades were today instead of actually on Memorial Day. I'm thinking we'll pack a cooler and head to a beach, just not sure which one yet. I don't like all the little inland lakes, I much prefer Lake Michigan because it's the same feel as the ocean, but without the salt and jellyfish and rays and sharks, plus I grew up there, so it has a homey feel. BUT it's a 2 hour drive each way, so I guess that depends on how rested I feel when I wake up that morning. :thumbsup2

Well done Brian.:thumbsup2 Look after yourself these few days till you go Michelle. Better to be well and really enjoy it, plus you need all the energy you can muster for that overnight thing you are doing.

YES, I second that! :thumbsup2

Thanks Marilyn, I'm still really stuffy and coughing, but I don't feel as miserable. I don't think I'm up for mowing, but feel like I'll be able to go do laundry just fine and our grocery shopping before I pick Tyler up. :goodvibes

So I signed up for a supposedly free Christian singles website last night, typed all the info they ask for, uploaded a picture, made sure I included everything important, and this morning I saw I had 3 messages and 2 "flirts". I clicked on my "inbox" there to check and a screen popped up saying that I'd have to pay to join and see all my messages. That makes me so mad when they don't tell you that up front!!! :headache:

Got woken up for a 2nd day in a row by a phone call from Tyler's dad, once again, for the 2nd day in a row, he told me he just gave Tyler the last pill of his OTHER med (not the same med as this same event yesterday morning). He's CONFUSED again, for the 2nd day in a row. This time he did remember to call the pharmacy (even though the bottle says NO refills on it), but the pharmacy told him they need doctor's approval. He couldn't figure out what to do since it's the weekend and tomorrow is a holiday. I told him what I do in this situation is call for a refill at least 3 or 4 days BEFORE running out of pills, not after he's taken the last one. :headache: I told him he'll just have to call the doctor's office and get their after hours person to call the pharmacy. Good grief.........MEN!!!! :headache: It's times like this when I'm grateful I don't have one in my life.

Geez, I'm finally over here a bit and everybody disappears! ;) Oh well.....it's time I started my day anyway. Now, if only I could get the coughing to quit and my nose to clear up. :headache:

Named me new Webkinz moose "Mickey".......Get it? Mickey Moose! :rotfl:

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just booked Cinderella's Royal Table and Ohana for dinners in Oct when we're in WDW. I have been trying to get to both for a long time and never was able to do it. It worked today. I'm thrilled!!

Add to that the Food and Wine Festival that we'll be going to and I won't mind getting off the boat this time around.

I'm so excited to be doing our first back to back cruise....that will be fun. Lisa and Darrell are joining us on the second leg of the cruise and for the Food and Wine Festival. Many others will be staying at WDW during that time so may be able to come with us as well.

Just four short months away.....my cruises are already paid in full. Now I just have to book an excursion or two and a Palo or two when the window opens up. That should be some time in June. I'm getting very excited.

After that will be the Dream inaugural in January and that one is almost paid off. I'm not doing any excursions on this one because I want to stay onboard and explore the ship.

Then we'll be working on planning and paying for the LA and Alaska B2Bs. There's a lot involved with these.

Deb, good Job getting those ADRs!

I have barely thought about the Alaska, but have been very excited about the repo portion! (Maybe it's because I know if I run into money issues, it's Alaska that will be the one to go.)

Holly, hope you are starting to feel better!

Me and John would do a share. :goodvibes

and you know I'm in don't you :snooty: :rolleyes1

Holly - hope you are feeling better
Michelle - congrats to the boy - special events in life are made really special when shared with family  you are a good auntie to be there for him
Deb - get that leg fixed or I'm gonna send our little friend the RAY to get ya ;)

The rest of you - hope you're enjoying your long weekend (well us US types)

Paul and I are enjoying the Indy 500 in our jammies - must get motovated to get out and enjoy - but with work these days I'm just happy to sit at home.

The kids got their parts for Les Mis - Willie didn't get the part he tried out for - but it was won by a kid that is 2 years older and with that many years of experience on him - so I'm trying to be happy that he was considered. He was really bummed about it too :sad2: Molly of course is happy with whatever she gets. They both have small parts but it will still be fun :thumbsup2

We have also decided since Willie is not on his game not to go the Nationals this year :sad1: Hopefully he can get his game face back and then we'll look at the next year. Dang that broken arm  it blew our mojo :headache:
