Me??? A Thread killer??? I'd have to cattle prod myself and well... that's just weird...

Letter not done. We've started a conversation again and there are lots of things to discuss... we'll see. I'm still standing my ground though.

Good for you!! Don't give in, you deserve only the best!

Look forward to seeing the photos. I have 1 Guide granddaughter and 3 Brownie granddaughters.

Keep going with all the good stuff with the leg Deb. I know you will though.;)

Thanks, I'll do my best.

Looks like the job situation will be ok, and good thing is they both still have a job.

Absolutely! We are very thankful.

As far as Lost goes, I was chatting with my Lost addict son last night, and he went on some forums after watching the final episode(not before!!!!) He kind of gets it. Apparently the writers said it is loosely based on the Western interpretation of a Hindu belief(or something). In that when you die there are certain people you have to connect or reconnect with before you can go to the light. So, some people did meet up again, some not. Some didn't remember, but got a feeling and flashback when the person walked past or something. Some people weren't there because they still had people to reconnect with.

Any help? Double Dutch to me of course, and he did say loads more but I have forgotten.:lmao: Shame he couldn't chat with you. He did say there wouldn't be any more though.

That about sums it up properly. Thanks for adding that. I kind of get it too. I still don't have to like it though. I'll make up my own ending that I'll like much better.:laughing:

Thanks ladies (and bubba) for holding down the fort for me...

Came home from dinner a little under the weather and stayed in bed most of today...

Have to get ready to go to TX on Tuesday and I hate when I get sick right before...

It seems Brian has a sore throat also... but he didn't get his from me...:worship:

He found out yesterday that he is graduating with honors in Theater and his cord will be the colors of his favorite team...The Mets!!!

Sorry that you and Brian are not feeling well. But it's great that he's graduating with honors....lots to be proud of!!!

The "Lost" finale was on TV again tonight, this time the version with pop-ups. Bummer, I caught it towards the end. Maybe there's an online version with pop-ups, will check maybe tomorrow.

Sorry I missed recording the whole thing....I just got the last hour. Well that's the important part anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing what they say about it.

Geez, I'm finally over here a bit and everybody disappears! ;) Oh well.....it's time I started my day anyway. Now, if only I could get the coughing to quit and my nose to clear up. :headache:

Sorry Holly. It's even harder to take because you never get sick. Hope you feel good real soon. You have a great vacation coming up and you want to feel good to get prepped and ready.

Deb, good Job getting those ADRs!

Thanks Jackie. I was pleasantly surprised.

I have barely thought about the Alaska, but have been very excited about the repo portion! (Maybe it's because I know if I run into money issues, it's Alaska that will be the one to go.)

It's ok, the Champagne Girls will be tasting on the LA repo portion so you won't miss that!!

Holly, hope you are starting to feel better!

I've decided to give up the WBTA in Sept 2011 and do the Jackie Birthday Dream cruise in Nov 2011 instead. AND we're doing another Champagne Girls on this one too.

and you know I'm in don't you :snooty: :rolleyes1

But of course we do....now are we talking Serenity Bay or the Family Beach?

Holly - hope you are feeling better

Michelle - congrats to the boy - special events in life are made really special when shared with family  you are a good auntie to be there for him

Deb - get that leg fixed or I'm gonna send our little friend the RAY to get ya ;)

I think you're going to have to send the RAY....not sure there's much else I'm willing to let them do to this leg anymore.

The rest of you - hope you're enjoying your long weekend (well us US types)

Paul and I are enjoying the Indy 500 in our jammies - must get motovated to get out and enjoy - but with work these days I'm just happy to sit at home.

That's what holiday weekends are all about!!

The kids got their parts for Les Mis - Willie didn't get the part he tried out for - but it was won by a kid that is 2 years older and with that many years of experience on him - so I'm trying to be happy that he was considered. He was really bummed about it too :sad2: Molly of course is happy with whatever she gets. They both have small parts but it will still be fun :thumbsup2

I'm glad they both got parts at least. You're really going to enjoy watching this one.

We have also decided since Willie is not on his game not to go the Nationals this year :sad1: Hopefully he can get his game face back and then we'll look at the next year. Dang that broken arm  it blew our mojo :headache:

He'll get back in sync soon enough. Practice, Practice, Practice. Doesn't he have a new car too this year? He'll be doing great again real soon.

Hi Shell, how are you feeling today? Everybody seems to be sick with something. I had a sore throat and tummy bug this week. I'm much better today. I hope you are too. You need to get that packing done.

This is his 2nd year in this kart - he had only 4 races in last year before the broken arm. The issues this year are more in his head I think. He just isn't hungry for it like he was last year. Used to be racing racing racing - now it's racing, baseball, video games...ha the life of a 10 year old boy

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just booked Cinderella's Royal Table and Ohana for dinners in Oct when we're in WDW. I have been trying to get to both for a long time and never was able to do it. It worked today. I'm thrilled!!

Add to that the Food and Wine Festival that we'll be going to and I won't mind getting off the boat this time around.

I'm so excited to be doing our first back to back cruise....that will be fun. Lisa and Darrell are joining us on the second leg of the cruise and for the Food and Wine Festival. Many others will be staying at WDW during that time so may be able to come with us as well.

Just four short months away.....my cruises are already paid in full. Now I just have to book an excursion or two and a Palo or two when the window opens up. That should be some time in June. I'm getting very excited.

After that will be the Dream inaugural in January and that one is almost paid off. I'm not doing any excursions on this one because I want to stay onboard and explore the ship.

Then we'll be working on planning and paying for the LA and Alaska B2Bs. There's a lot involved with these.

WOOHOO!!!!! Congrats! All sounds fun! :yay: Must feel good to have those cruises paid off. :goodvibes

Yay! I came home to some pages to read! :yay: Well, only 1, but that's better than none! :goodvibes

Didn't do laundry or any yardwork, but got our grocery shopping done, bought ant spray and weed spray (so I won't have to keep pulling weeds, hopefully), stopped at a pet store for more guinea pig supplies, got 3 summer outfits and a couple extra shirts to mix and match, got 2 shorts outfits for Tyler (forgot he needs summer pajamas), and......I think that's it. Oh, called Marvin too, but only got voicemail. That's it I think.

I have to return a library book on the way to pick Tyler up, and then we'll come home and relax inside. I'm sure he had his fill of sun yesterday at the amusement park/water park, so he won't mind being inside (plus it's close to 90F. Yuck.). Early bedtime for him, then hopefully a beer with Marv if he shows up, then up early tomorrow to head to Lake Michigan if the weather holds for us. :woohoo: I have a goal this summer to take Tyler there at least once a month so he can enjoy what I grew up with. So far, he seems to love the water as much as I do, so I think he'll love it. :cloud9:

Oh....have to clean the guinea pig cage tonight. Then I can relax. Still coughing and nose blowing, but I'm not stuffy anymore, it's all coming out, so I'm on my way to feeling better. Feel about 1/2 way better today. :thumbsup2

Nan, I'm sorry Wilson didn't get the part he wanted, but glad he and Molly both got parts. Small part doesn't matter, it will still be fun for everybody. :thumbsup2 There will be other roles he can try for.

Re racing, bummer about the decision not to go to Nationals, but maybe he'll be back into it mentally next year. :thumbsup2

Deb, I'm glad you have so many trips to plan and look forward too! I'm especially envious about Hershey!!!! Hoping to see pictures! :goodvibes

You're probably right....a new kart and then a broken arm....he might be trigger shy now. Or he could just be ten and into other things as well. Guess he'll let you know as he figures it out. It's great to have choices.

WOOHOO!!!!! Congrats! All sounds fun! :yay: Must feel good to have those cruises paid off. :goodvibes

Because I have so many cruises booked.....I never do more than one a year.....I've been very concerned about getting them paid off sooner rather than later. It is a good feeling to know I'm progressing right along. I'll feel much better when the LA repo and the Alaska are paid in full. I'm not really worried about the Jackie Birthday Dream cruise because I'm cancelling the WBTA and I have a $1200 deposit that I can move over that will help pay the Dream cruise off. I have until next February to pay off the LA and Alaska cruises.....so I'm well ahead of the game. I want to get the cruises paid off so that I can start saving for the vacations.
