Well, my mom said no to my free tickets to Phantom of the Opera. I wonder if it would be really inappropriate to take Tyler. He loves shows, but I'm wondering if it would be boring for him because the commercials say it's a love story.

Holly, I know adults who can't sit through Phantom. I could think of a lot of other musicals he would enjoy, but I don't think this is one of them. (Plus it's kind of dark...a love story that doesn't end well!)

Is anyone interested in doing the Champagne Sunday Brunch at the Castaway in Burbank, CA before doing the LA Repo cruise??? Bubba and V and Gaylean and John could meet us....Shannon and Ken could be there, Nana and clan could be there, Jackie, Cheri and Monica could be there, Ian and Sukie could be there.....a lot of us are on that cruise. It could be a west coast dismeet before getting onboard.

Me and John are flying into San Diego for four days before the cruise. John said he would drive to LA for the day on Sunday for this meet.

Jackie, Southwest open 6/15/10 for reservations through 1/7/11. Alan said to get in quick for Thanksgiving reservations as deals are few and far between.

He says to book early and he means early as everyone wants to fly then!!!

Well, Tyler ended up getting home about 5 minutes before my dad & stepmom got here, so that worked well. He's sunburned and tired & cranky from scout camp. He and his dad went yesterday morning and they had a whole day outdoors doing scout stuff, then it was only 30F overnight for camping, so he told me Tyler didn't sleep well, so he's super tired. He fell asleep on the way back to our house after our lunch out, and has been asleep for 2 1/2 hours! I have to wake him up so we can go do laundry. He's super angry and crabby when woken up before he's had enough sleep.

It's a beautiful day, so I was just outside for about an hour talking to neighbors. One particular family across the street has us take care of their cat whenever they're on vacation, and they take care of our guinea pigs when we're gone. The dad of the family was giving me mowing tips last week, and telling me things he's learned from his gardening club, things I could plant to make my yard more low maintenance. Well, today he told me he and one of his daughters are going to come attack my yard when I'm not looking one of these days because they have some ideas to help it look better. I asked them if they're tired of me being the eyesore of the neighborhood. The dad told me I'm definitely not an eyesore, but he just wants to help make things easier for me because that's what neighbors do....help each other our. I'm so lucky to have such great neighbors! I do have to say, my life overall is quite lucky in all areas.

I won't be hitting LA till Tuesday, using the vacation time at the end of the trip for Vancouver since I've never been there.

Thanks! I usually start checking every day a couple of days before the expected release date...they HAVE opened earlier once or twice.

Take note those of you who may choose SW to fly to Chicago!
