Yeah...he wants to cruise with the thieves again...

He said that the guys (Danny & Joey) are doing ok... Danny is trying to adjust to a new atmosphere and it was a little rough for a while... but I hope it's going better now...

I know, it's not super exciting, but it sure is to me! He's the best fit for me out of anybody I've ever mentioned on here. He's never been married---because he's always been hung up on his high school girlfriend who married somebody else, then got divorced and led Marvin on for years and years, taking advantage of his generosity in many ways, but he finally realized about a year ago that they'll never be more than friends and he's done trying. He's a bit older than me, 7 years older, but that doesn't bother me because he acts much younger. He loves kids and mentioned recently that he thinks he's still young enough to have one if he finds the right person. And most importantly, he makes me laugh and smile.

I have one question. Does he like cruising????

He's actually never been on a cruise, but he likes Disney (along with tons of other characters), has hundreds of character ties, more than enough to wear a different one every day (quite a few Disney ones), I think he'd fit right in and be right at home on a Disney cruise OR WDW.

Oh....and he's NOT a morning person.....he rarely makes it in to the office by 9 (everybody else starts at 8:30). Stays up late watching movies, sleeps most of Saturday. My kind of guy. Lazy just like me! Similar housecleaning habits......which means procrastinating and coming up with excuses not to do it. We had a bet going on who would break down and put their Christmas stuff away first. I think he might still have his up.

Uggghhh.......I'd better get to sleep. Long day tomorrow because I'm joining a handful of people from work tomorrow for a goodbye dinner and a drink for Marvin. I'm going to miss him whistling down the hallways every day.

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses. I did that so to speak today, I noticed when I caught the train at 5:03 pm that the sun had not fully set yet. Meaning there was still a bit of light out at that time.

Meaning spring is on the way.

Speaking of birthdays...Wilson will be 10 next week Double Digits

THis weekend we are having a party, starting at the batting cages then to Panda Express (his favorite) then home for sleepover. His 2 BFFs can't make it (this is a holiday) week here lots of kids gone for the weekend still, so I'm trying to piece together a suprise for him on his real bday Nickel City (accade games and pizza sounds just right for a school night) wish me luck keeping it secret

Happy Birthday to Willie! Dylan will be 12 in a couple of weeks...he's changed every time I see him.......growing up fast.

I will try to hit the boards again soon. I am low as I had to cancel off of the NEC trip, but I did move over to the b2b from Los Angeles to Alaska and back to Vancouver. So hopefully I will be able to start chatting on that board soon and be with everyone again.

Holly, exciting about your date!

I'm leaving here tomorrow afternoon, going to Scottsdale to spend the night and see the puppies, then Thurs. heading down to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) Mexico for a few days. I've been invited down by a high school friend and his wife who are vacationing there. Should be nice weather, we'll spend time on the beach and probably eat some good shrimp and Mexican food. Don't know if I'll have internet access, but if I do I'll post some pics on FB.

trouble that I am away this weekend to Gleneagle for weekend with 5 ladies

The burbs, My folks are in Hoffman Estates. Very close to Woodfield Mall. We head in to Chicago for the Swedish Bakery.

Did your vet do the extractions before Truman saw the specialist?

Yes, all the extractions were done. Oddly, the murmur disappeared during the extractions.

Truman has to go back in a month for a check up also to decide if he needs to see the specialist.

I've been bad. Not gaining, not losing. I'm still tracking, but I'm going over in points. We have stuff in the house that I shouldn't eat, so naturally I do and all my other hard work doesn't count.

I've got to get my priorities straight again and get the other foods out of the house. I need to continue to lose.

Oh....Marilyn, I'm not sure if you ever chat with my co-worker Jan who you met on one of your recent cruises, but please don't mention Marvin. Even though he's on his way out, it's a small city here and it wouldn't be a good thing to have known until he's actually out of our office. It's been great chatting and catching up! I have to be at work at 6:45am, which means getting up at 5:30. Yuk.

I would love to know who came up with hospital shifts starting at 7am. Probably the same fool who thought nurses caps were a good idea, try getting around traction apparatus with that thing on.

Thanks Ian, It wasn't fun for a few weeks. Thing s have been breat since then so no complaints. I'm just thankful it waited until we got home from the cruise before it blew.
